This place is a gold mine. It's a local "gay bar" where you can find more of a mixed crowd. However, I was corrected today by the bartender that prefer to be called a "neighborhood bar". Okay. Today I met a gay couple who were visiting from Cincy who were fun and kind. During previous visits, I met a lovely young couple who are doing a lot for the community. Other patrons included an economist and a military person who were all straight. The bartender and owner were engaged with customers and the prices were good. That itself was a bit nuts for my taste, but whatâs worse is that he, after rudely yelling at me, went on to berate his bar tender for supposedly not making people mask up. I wouldnât think it needed to be explained that a person cannot 1) wear a mask and 2) drink a beer simultaneously, but this is where we are. I would recommend spending money somewhere else...lots of other bars in the area that allow you to actually drink the drink you have purchased. Crazy...
