KFC — Restaurant in Newport

If zero stars was a choice then that would be my option. You have to be door dash to get any service from this place. We literally stood in line for 10 minutes then someone comes in for door dash walks right up cuts us in line they hand them food tell us they be right with us. We ordered a family meal to eat inside. Didn’t get not 1 plate/ fork nothing. They literally asked here or to go?? Then we found out the pop tasted funny. Like is was very flat. We tried the pop from the back and that still tasted funny. I asked for my money back and the lady got extremely rude with me when I asked her to taste it herself. She said I don’t drink pop so I’m not tasting nothing and we don’t give refunds. I said well I don’t like anything else that is a choice here. She said idc we still don’t give back refunds. The inside of the restaurant was filthy dirty. I have never seen anything that dirty in my life. I do have pictures to prove and a video that when the girl got an attitude with me and I said something back she asked me if I wanted to step outside. Well I just had my gall bladder ripped out 2 days ago I don’t know how well I can really protect myself. Sad that I got threatened, because I wanted my money back and told them I was calling the health Dept. I’ll never spend money at this...

update I have given them another chance and I'm thrilled! Not only is the tea back to being delicious, I learned if the 1/2 gallon is not an option, it could be because the 1/2 gallon bucket is out; but two large teas are equivalent. Also, their new wraps are amazing! I loved the original tender with mayo and pickles, on a tortilla; and my husband really liked the spicy version with spicy sauce in place of the mayo and cole slaw added. I wish added cole slaw was an option in the original. Still, 2 for $5 is a fair price; and their meal option for the wrap is an even better deal.

original Besides the delicious chicken, I love their sweet tea, up until yesterday. Sometimes, I'll order the bucket tea, by itself. Once in awhile, it is not available, which is disappointing; but understandable for that amount. However, I ordered one after work, yesterday, and when I tried it, 10-15 min., afterward, it was not as sweet tasting as I remember. I put it in the fridge, as I usually do; and today it tastes almost bad. I think I received the bottom of the barrel or tea not changed within the time frame it should have been. No more bucket sweet tea for me. I'll stick with a cup and taste it, before I leave. Sad. I really liked having it for a few days. $4 and change...

I like to start off by saying that this facility is the most deplorable restaurant I've ever walked into there's dirt grime and food debris on every square inch of this restaurant. To top it off the staff including the managers are some of the rudest people I've ever had The Misfortune of meeting. Me and my family ordered a bucket of chicken and when we got home it was extremely overcooked and it appeared as if it had been sitting for a long period of time, the sides were all cold an the macaroni had that crusty film on top of it. I called and talked to the manager and he informed me that I could bring the bucket of chicken back to the facility the next day to get a refund so when I went back the next day and talk to the manager she said that she would only be able to refund half of the order and I told her that I would be contacting corporate to get the refund when I asked her for her name she turned around and went an hid in the back office I turned and looked at her cashier and asked him the same question and he also turned around and went to the back to hide. It's unremarkable how these people handled business and I strongly encourage anyone wanting kfc to take their business to a...
