My wife was asked to leave Burlington Coat Factory because she did not have a mask. My wife has asthma and cannot wear the masks. The security lady named Alecia said she had called the health department in Ohio to come to Newport KY because my wife didnt have a mask. When we asked for a manager she said he wasnt there that he was in another state and was on his way. Then she said she was calling the police because I asked for her name and advised her it's a mandate not a law and that my wife has papers to show for her asthma. So we left and called the corporate number and the lady I talked to took down my number and called the store itself and spoke with the manager that was there the whole time. Read moreNewport plaza has been a blessing to the Newport area. Now we all have a place to go in one spot to do all of our shopping needs. From Kroger to TJ Maxx you could spend your whole day up there shopping. I love that we have a PetSmart now we have the giant Newport Pavilion Kroger, IHOP, Chick-fil-A, Noodles and Co, Panera Bread. UPS Store fitness center I mean you could go spend your whole day up there for workout lunch shop all in one spot and it's nice that you don't have to travel too far you can even walk if you live close to the Pavilion. I highly recommend it for a weekend day out just to spend time with family and get your shopping done go to the gym lunch shopping and maybe take your pet...

During this crazy time, the new "outdoor" area offers a warm, covered space with cocktails, craft beer from Wooden Cask local brewery,, food and great river views. Now decorated for the holidays, the giant Christmas tree is positioned by the river, the purple peiple bridge is lit up in purple lights with a tree also on the KY side, and holiday music makes it all pretty festive. The new market exchange is a nice open market area inside on the first floor.
