No clue why I keep attempting to give this location so many chances. Every. Time. I. Come. Through. Here. There. Is. Always. An. Issue! The woman claiming to be named "Nell" is totally clueless and is ALWAYS RUDE & NASTY. Last week I placed an online order at 7:30p for drive-thru only. When I got to the speaker she told me they were about to close & I should not have been able to make an online order. I got to the window and she rolled her eyes when I gave her my card. There was never an apology or any kind of compassion for this person. Today 3/23 I called the location because all I had was cash. I had left all my cards at home. So I caught the store and I informed the order taker that I had cash only and then I would like to come through the drive-thru because it's raining. I get to the order speaker and I inform them that I have a call in order. They acted like they had no idea what I was talking about. Again it was Nell. Seems I inconvenienced her yet again. After waiting 15 minutes in the drive-thru I finally get to the window. Again she seems confused and inconvenienced that I'm there. No customer service presented whatsoever. She then begins to tell me that I should have came into the store because I had to pick up order. I just wanted it to be convenient that I come through the drive-thru and that they could accept cash through the drive-thru. She then proceeds to tell me that I did not get my $2 off through the app because I was paying in cash so the coupon would not be applied. She then asked me to repeat my order twice. I repeated my order and again she seemed inconvenienced. She said you wanted it toasted? And I said yes. She then said you wanted no tomatoes? And I responded yes she then rolled her eyes. This is the second time she has made me feel very unwelcomed at the store. I work for Panera bread about 10 years ago and I never gave this type of piss poor customer service. I will not be returning to this location, and I will inform everyone I know about this location. I'll also be posting in the Newport, Kentucky Facebook group about...
Read moreI went to this location on Friday, September 15th. I was sick and needed something on my stomach. It was 8 PM and I was the ONLY car in the drive thru. I placed my order and got the pick two. I ordered mac and cheese with a bowl of CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP. The girl taking my order I guess couldn't hear me so I made sure before I pulled away from the screen that I said, "MAC AND CHEESE WITH A BOWL OF CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP."
I got to the window and paid and the girl said it would be just a min, that's fine. I was still the ONLY car in the drive thru. I waited 8 mins on my food. I watched through the window the whole time and the gal making my TWO items had a full out conversation with her coworker while my food was just sitting on the counter. After she was done with her conversation she then put the lid on my last item (while it was just sitting on the counter for 8 mins) and placed it in the bag and FINALLY walked to the window. I told her, "Thanks for having a whole conversation while my food just sat there. They weren't making any of orders. Just sweeping, cleaning and talking while I waited 8 mins, the ONLY car in the whole drive thru.
When I got home, wrong soup, they gave me broccoli cheddar instead of chicken noodle.
Like I said, I was sick, it was late, I wasn't going to drive back down there just to exchange soups.

Read moreI always love going to Panera Bread. Food is fresh and tastes great. The restaurant and restroom are always neat and clean bathrooms. They have soup salad and sandwiches which you can choose as a pick two or as a whole menu item. Breakfast available and now pizza and food bowls. You have to stand in line to place your order and give them your first name and when your purchase is ready they will call name . You seat yourself at available tables or booths. It is a very popular eatery esp. at lunch time. Whatever you choose you can never go wrong here. There is a bakery there too and when you make enough purchases of any of their foods and use your Panera
