Unfortunately, you can’t leave a 0 star rating. As I arrived at chipotle I first noticed they had a sign that said online orders only. Why is this? This is a very common sign the newtown square chipotle has hanging outside. Even though there is a staff member casually eating outside outside so no I cannot believe the whole not online order is from being short staffed. The staff has repeatedly shown that they are lazy and just don’t want to be there. Bad management? No management at all is my speculation. There is 100% enough staff inside to be open to walk in orders as well. The laziness needs to stop. Despite all of this I decided to place the order online. I waited 20 minutes and then walked in to get my order. As I took my first bite the rice crunched under my teeth because of how undercooked it was. And if that’s not enough there was no lime or cilantro to be found in the rice either. If you thought this was bad it gets worse. The steak was not seasoned at all. I was left with a completely bland bowl. As much as I wanted to throw it out I finished it as it was my only source of food at the time. In conclusion I blame this all on the staff being sluggish and straight up lazy. Can you imagine a chipotle with no steak? In my decade of going to Chipotle, this is the first time I hear about this. And on top of that, the person that attended to me was really rude about it. I asked her if they just do not have it today and if I come back tomorrow they would have it. She just kept echoing 'no steak, no steak'. I rephrased my question and she just kept echoing 'no steak and no steak'. I saw she was getting rude about it. I decided to just go with chicken and get out my order. This is the one and only time I am have a bad experience with Chipotle. Prior to all these, she already messed up my order. I asked for black beans and she put brown. No big deal to me about that and I was not going to complain about it until her subsequent behavior. Now looking back, it all makes sense to me. While standing in the line, a lady walked in to complain about missing item in her order but she was not treated well either. She walked out with frown face to her other colleagues sitting outside.
