Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard — Restaurant in Newtown Township

This Rita’s is one of my favorite spots for a treat. Quality and service is terrific. However, there is a huge amount of bees by the trash cans, so while you are walking from your car to the store there are bees and wasps chasing you and even more after you order because you are holding sugar. Personally, I will not go there anymore because of my very bad bee phobia. I understand that little can be done about this, but I think spraying a bee killer spray in the trash cans regularly and also keeping them covered instead of open will make a huge difference. I ordered Rita’s today through Uber and when the driver got to me he not didn’t have a mask on the drinks didn’t have covers . During this time I definitely expected more from Rita’a then this careless act. I called to complain and she told me she didn’t have lids for the type of drinks I ordered and that she can’t force people to wear mask.
