Food was great. The service was excellent. Our server was attentive and friendly. Dinner hours do get busy so be prepared for a wait if you do not have a reservation. The Ribeye steak was great. It came out perfectly cooked. The cream of potato soup was very good. The mashed potatoes were delicious. The meal also comes with a side salad along with the soup and choice of side with your steak. Prices are fair and much cheaper than you would pay at a traditional steak house. The quality of the meat is great. The drinks are strong and flavorful. You get a lot of food for a great price; I spent about $100 for dinner and a drink for two including tip. I would recommend this restaurant. Parking is ample. Restaurant is clean.

Hilton Honors provides a $15/day food credit due to my status as a diamond member. My first visit to the restaurant consisted of staff having to call the Hotel staff to "verify my food credits", I never said anything about food credits to the staff. My second visit consisted of me charging my order to my room and not having to go through verification; the young lady processing the transaction was extremely polite. I felt as if I was profiled on my initial visit; if there is a standard for guest charging food to their room, make it a standard to verify their status across the board. Food was delicious, I just don’t like being singled out because of someone’s bias.

Oh my, where do I start. Some of the worst service I've ever seen. So I decide to order a $55 steak. Medium rare. It comes back so charred. As a chef I'm embarrassed for whoever is working. I returned my steak and had the manager proceed to tell me that I am in the wrong and order what my father got (it's Father's Day). He got the porter house steak. He tells the manager this steak is horrible too. We sat down at 6 pm. We left at 8:12. We will never go back and honestly and please take this review into consideration. Even look at that potato!!!! Hahahahhaa $55 bucks in this economy for this.

You must be kidding! We reserved around seat room and overpaid up front for a reunion breakfast and we're jammed on an 8 seat table and 24 people scatered around by the entire non- English speaking staff that at first pretended not to know about the reservation or the money? But then after a temprature check at under 100°F and the food colder, the " steam table " water contaminated" with biologicals & greese! The " laid out "complementary free buffet for guests ( ho as alumni triple paid) from 0600 hrs!) We arrived , as scheduled @ 1000 hrs but total chaos until - police "ANONOMOUSLY'" arrived to discover: No health certificates posted, expired hotel license " not posted" ( for collection of taxes paid if not submitted to the village or state?) Or Displayed, Health & fires, THERMOMETER'S matched ours but the : non- engilsh rude threatening staff had disappeared" just before INS/ ICE arrival.

The:"BUFFET" was shutdown, new staff cleaning and replacing EQUIPTMENT; all very fluent in language , law and sanitation ( with their own personal health certificates and ewuptment)

100°F is not steam nor will cheap regular light bulbs replace infared/heat lamps ( which cannot be used at buffets or any food , exposed to the diners)

( PS / FYI If you use :UV protected eyeglasses: the ultraviolet ligh may not glow as bright or if bathed in sunlight ( look in your shadow!) Or if the use ulrtaviolet lights to hide yours. Not contact and if anything the infared would warm the food ' 0.0000000001°F , depending. You won't feel it but DON'T AIM AT YOUR OR ANYONES EYES OR MIRRORS. IF you are observed , teyll6 always ask you to " leave" and urn the heating up/ cold down. But while they are with you, your friends & loved one will get the info & when the official's/inspector's arrive , they can go in the kitchen or anywhere!

If the #' s are right at the table? You may be safe but if in doub t : walk away, let the pro's do it. Remember at home mom said : "When in doubt, throw it out!"

"NO DECISION TO- OR REFUNDS UNTIL MANAGEMENT ARRIVES" They were still writing reports/ fines/ calling othe agencies after 99% of the diners left! Not our first rodeo? We went to a nearby buffet and had a great time day and great memories, with photos!

Their reputation, abadon them! Ask to see their licnses documents and violations :" must be prominently posted" if you weren't at the scene. Perhaps it will never happen again but: for those that stayed for the " excitement" tell those who : we're not seated at the tables or in the :" EMPTY RESERVED 'BANK QUIT' ROOM FOR OVER 40!"

BUYER BEWARE, ASK SKOKIE FOR THE COURT DATE? None at this time. Reports:File an FOI- request. Skokie News: Never heard a thing and never KNEW?

For your future:. PLAN YESTERDAY, DO RECONNAISSANCE, USE PROFESSIONALS YOU KNOW PERSONALLY AND NEVER ASSUME! SYOTOS &...

I have eaten here a total of two times so this review is a part one and part 2. The first time I ate here was strictly for lunch and I was so impressed with my waiter who strongly advised me to order the burger instead of the lunch chop steak. The food was great and I received a bowl of soup to go with my burger. My waiter Erick was very attentive with making sure my food was not left waiting around to get cold. My second experience tonight was truly a disappointment. I was sat down by the hostess immediately by a booth by the window but the downside to that was the fact that a real loud guy was right next to me at the bar cheering on his football game and loudly clapping while I am trying to chill out and eat.

So ambiance aside, the waiter came to my table but I was yet to receive any water. He asked if I was having anything to drink and I said water with lemons would be great. He took my order and I asked for onion soup, steak, and extra veggies on the side rather than a potato. He never brought me a water until about fifteen minutes later he brought the soup, the warm bread and my water with lemons all on the same tray. I tried my soup and it was tasty but lukewarm not hot and almost what you would call mildly tepid. I wish I had said something but I hate complaining. At the end of my meal I did tell the manager that my soup was tepid and my vegetables were also lukewarm by the time my steak was brought to me.

I guess it's all about timing. I was a server in high school and I do know that you should not just let food waste away unattended when it is obviously ready to eat. The server should have been quick about the water and when the soup was nice and hot that is actually when it should have been brought out to me but he brought it out at the same time because he said he was waiting for the bread to be ready. The bread was quite warm and good but who wants to eat cold soup and veggies?

The manager encouraged me to give it another try but no coupon was given to me so I am reviewing this restaurant fairly by giving it three stars. Honestly for the price of the food you should get warm to hot food and I was given poor service yet the restaurant was not even that busy. I have had better quality steak from Gibson's and charged practically the same price so spend a little bit more and go for Gibson's steakhouse because this place does not have good management skills. Just also letting you know that I am being kind and generous for giving this place three stars because the food is just there but certain items are quite good. Overall average dining experience but the seating is quite...

Stumbled upon this place on Mother's Day.

Appearance/Atmosphere - The place was packed and we had to sit in the bar area. There wasn't much of a view because the windows appeared to be blocked off by some opaque white film. It was very peaceful up until the Bulls game was turned on behind the bar ... and I am sure you can imagine the excitement of some of the patrons. It went from this sort of quiet, fancy restaurant to a sports bar pretty quickly.

Food - The food was excellent. My father-in-law and wife got porterhouse steaks (wife's was Parmesan crusted), I ordered the Lemon Pepper Chicken. My son had a kid's pizza.

Service - Surprisingly we were seating almost immediately and the manager on shift was very friendly, especially with my son. Although the waitress was nice and pleasant, sometimes she was a little slow. She came enough times to our table for refills and bread and our food with the food runner, and we ended up being there for over an hour and a half.

Pricing - As others have mentioned, the price is pretty high. My meal was roughly 16 dollars for the chicken, but we received bread, soup, salad, and my chicken with veggies. I would say that is fair for the food I received. My wife and father-in-law's porterhouse steaks were over $30.

Overall, it was a fairly pleasant experience. Nothing struck me as making the experience awful, but not...
