I have two boys and we've been to many bouncy houses, trampoline parks, climbing gyms etc. I am veteran parent of this chaos and I was prepared for Chuckie Cheese leve madness. Funbox Skokie has new, clean and instagram-worthy equipment. We went on a 90 degree day and most of the play area was far too hot to play on, our feet were burning through socks and we got rub burns on the slides. We chose the day so that is entirelyon us. What I hold funbox responsible for is the lack of seating and fans in the shaded rest area, which had more people than the play area the entire time we were there. At the beginning of the reservation time slot there was a funbox employee making sure the obstacle course wasn't full and that the line was working, at the end it was a free for all with no supervision at all. Some of the extra stuff was just not out, like the balls for the hoop game. I dont blame the employees, highschool kids, who also had no shade to stand under and do their jobs. This place has to be a pop up because you will never go again. It is cheap but it is pretty small...
Read morethis really is something to do. they should have twilight hours, so you dont burn yourself on everything. it was wet, understandably, it had rained the night before. some parts were really, really, really wet. trying to go down the slides were fun, but i burned myself, through my pants, and landed in a pool of water. i was wet the rest of our time. the big yellow bounce pad was really cool, there needs to be more steps to get up there, hard to do with wet gripped socks. they had an area with a wrecking ball, and pads for people to stand and hit each other, i liked it. there was an obstacle course, i liked it, different than other bounce courses ive done. i just wish they had got more of the water out of there. i also with they had some type of canopy over the bouncing areas, so it was not so hot, at least just over the slides would be beneficial. but this is still something...
Read moreI can't say enough good things about FunBox Skokie! This place is a paradise for kids (and let's be honest, adults too). The bounce house park is huge, giving you a sense that you could spend the whole day here and still not explore everything.
What really set our experience apart, however, was the exceptional service we received from an employee named Kae. We had a bit of a misunderstanding upon arrival, but Kae went above and beyond to make sure it was quickly sorted out. Thanks to her, our day went from stressful to absolutely amazing.
Safety protocols were in place, the facility was clean, and the staff were not only attentive but also genuinely friendly.
I highly recommend FunBox Skokie for anyone looking to have a great time, and if you're lucky enough to encounter Kae during your visit, you're in for a five-star experience!
Will definitely be...
