This is absolutly the worst Red Lobster I have ever been to. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. but the kitchen staff and management are the worst. My wife and I went there on a Saturday evening our first clue should have been the empty parking lot and lack of wait time at 6:00 prime dining time. We ordered our meals and had an average wait time, when the meals arrived both of the steaks we ordered were extremely under cooked. After informing the waiter of the issue we waited for undercooked food to be corrected. In the meantime the waiter returned and we asked to speak to a manager, the manager arrived and proceeded to assure us things were being corrected. After waiting an additional 10 or 15 mins we asked to speak to another manager. This is were it gets interesting.The young man named Jake came and listened to our complaints. Nothing said to him would be considered rude, there was no swearing, but voicing of cmplaints about his kitchen staffs lack of competence and noting that it was his job to make sure that the kitchen was doing what was expected of it. Well as he was nodding and agreeing to what was said he never once offered to go check with the kitchen to oversee the preperation of the food to ensure that was being properly prepared. Duiring this time the food arrived at the table and it was improperly prepare for a second time. At this point he got angry and told us the meal was on him and instructed us to leave, while he took the food and stomped off. I have never been to any resturaunt that showed this degree of incompetence and lack of respect for custmers spending close to 100 dollars for a meal. My husband and I NEVER get to sit down together and be out due to work, I'm a social worker and my job doesn't stop when I clock out... so we stop at red lobster in Niles.. what a terrible decision 😪 We were sat at 6:20pm our server did not even come to get us drinks until 6:55, I know this because I said I'm giving her until 7 to at least get our drinks then we have to go, we were starving it was late and we have to be up for work at 5 AM. Server comes we order our drinks and our food because we were terrified we'd be waiting even longer (the place was not packed, servers were at the hostess stand hanging out too so clearly the dinner rush was through and we missed it) She legit brings us our mountain dew and says " I think the bib was out, I have someone changing it now, try those and if they are bad ill bring new ones) it would have made more sense to bring us 2 waters and explained the wait but hey everyone is different, which would have been fine if she ever came back at all, I mean we waited almost 45 mins for these drinks... so now we are tired, hungry and thirsty 😑 we wait 20 more minutes and my husband begins scanning the room for our server because this is crazy, we finally made the decision to get up and leave ... it's almost 8 o clock and we spent the time we had to eat waiting... we were so mad and exhausted we didn't eat at all and went home and went to bed...thanks for the great service 😒 😑 🙄 we will never go back again because we're terrified we won't even get to have dinner ...sad, tried calling corporate and they were closed, I will definitely be calling...
Read moreSo. I received a gift card from my last experience here so we decided to use it for the crab fest. I was again, so disappointed. To begin with, waitress was absolutely terrible. It went down hill from their. My husband ordered a drink, a long Island ice tea. She brought out some biscuits and water. We waited a half hour and she finally came back to see if we wanted to order. My husband said no, I haven't even got my drink. She said oh, sorry. Let me check on that. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms while she was standing there and she left. Another half hour went by and she brings out the ice cold appetizer but no drink. Again she says she will check on it. 15 mins later she brings his drink out and it was so watered down it was ridiculous. We told her the mushrooms were cold and she said she would get us another order. She didn't return again. meanwhile the table beside us was never cleared off from the time we got there. She finally comes out and our food was not satisfactory and my husband told her about his watered down drink. She said they didn't have a bartender and she would get him another drink. At this point I had enough and I got a manager. We told her what was going on and so she had them make us more stuffed mushrooms and more crab legs. We were there 2 1/2 hours and I don't think we will return. No offer to take anything off the bill or anything. I don't mind paying and tipping well when you get a good meal!
