Yesterday took my son and family out to eat, party of 6, at 5740 Youngstown Warren Rd, Niles, OH 44446. This was the most disappointing experience to date. We eat out frequently and while your restaurant was by far the priciest, the service and food quality by far the worst. The server was disinterested and not attentive at all. We asked for a spoon, she brought the spoon, but zipped off without noting, nor allowing us enough time, that the breadsticks were GONE. After all, we were feeding 2 healthy grandsons. Next, she removed empty salad bowl with only asking 1 person at other end of table if she had had enough. 3. When I requested the breadsticks, she 3 times asked me, "are you sure you want them?" At which point, after the 3rd time, I said I wouldn't have asked if I didn't want them. 4. This is the biggest, and killer of any intention of returning. I ordered the 5 cheese ziti AL FORNO. Key word there. It means BAKED. Per menu, "a baked blend of Italian cheeses, pasta and our signature 5 cheese marinara." It WAS NOT!!! I was served a plate of bare ziti pasta with 5 cheese marinara dumped on top. In spite of finding an employee and complained that my meal was not as described, she asked which table, I pointed to mine, it was still some time before my server came. I pointed out that my (uneaten) meal was not made correctly at which she real snotty said, "well that is how we make it here!!". I responded that it is not what the menu said it would be, to which she responded as she tossed her head and left, "well, there's nothing I can do about that, you'll have to talk to the manager!", said like I was some sort of naughty child and gonna call the principle. So some time later, not immediately, the manager finally came around. She did admit that the ziti never saw an oven. She did remove from my bill, but only after several minutes of trying to push something else on me. My party was done eating, I wasn't going to wait for them to make something else up. Neither did I want dessert, nor take out. Why would or should I expect them to prepare it baked when they couldn't do it in the first place. Let me tell you, I spent an entire day's wages on our meals. I work hard for my money. I'm a nurse, still working at 70 years old. You can't tell me how understaffed and overworked your employees are. When we left, there were no less than 6 of your employees standing clustered around the entry kiosk. Maybe if they would spend a little more of that time making sure their patrons are happy and well fed instead of playing...
Read moreAll right so before I begin this review because it's not a positive one I want to be honest , I went to Olive garden in Niles yesterday for Valentine's Day February 14th 2025, prior to leaving my house for Niles my girlfriend and I checked in online and got put on what was called a waiting list.. That waiting list told us that the wait was approximately 1 hour, when we got to the Olive garden we were informed that we had arrived too late and that we had been bumped off the waiting list, we asked that we be put back on the waiting list and we were informed that it would be approximately an hour wait. my girlfriend and I went back out to our car and we sat for an hour and a half we never received a text telling us that it was our turn to come in, so at this point frustrated we decided just to order takeout and go home and spend the evening eating together, I ordered a chicken carbonara and I don't remember what she had ordered, when we got home we didn't have the amount of breadsticks we were supposed to have my chicken carbonara was bland and there wasn't enough salad dressing provided for the salad, overall I was extremely dissatisfied with this experience both at my attempt to eat in and taking the food home it ruined what would have otherwise been a very nice Valentine's Day for myself and my girlfriend. I don't think this sort of thing happens all the time here I attribute it mostly to the fact that they were super busy but nevertheless it was an extremely...
Read moreI love Olive Garden and have never NEVER have had bad service. I called in a order for take out because I was not feeling well. Tamera asked for my name and I said Wingett no make it Bill. I sent my husband to pick it up. When he got there,he said he was there to pick up a order for Barbara or Bill Wingett. He said my wife called it in and the girls said they had no one with a order and he went out mad telling them to just forget it. He comes home to me all upset that they said there was no order. I called back and Tamera awnsered again and I said I put a order in and she told me that there were 2 Bills. Bill and Bill Morgan. I said I was coming back to pick it up. I get there and drove around 4 times before I came in. I told the girls I had a pick up and of course I said my name but than corrected it and said Bill. While I was waiting the girls were talking about it and said my name and a few looked at me. Then the lady who came up apologized for the mix up. I was so embarrassed. Whether it is under Barbara or Bill or Wingett the order should have been there. I was so upset I could not even eat my favorite meal. Just NOT HAPPY!!!!! I have dealt with customer service for more than 38 years. No matter what this would have...
