McAlisterâs has been nothing but a blessing for our family since 2012.
For 13 years, we have been at this restaurant sharing fellowship with friends over sweet teas, playing board games on their four-chair flattop tables late into the evening on date nights, grading homework and writing lessons, and getting to know the people who serve at McAlisterâs.
Itâs become a second home for us, and I felt the need to write a small review on Google to share the joy it is to be a part of a company that cares and commits to high quality service in all they do.
When my wife and I were backpacking Europe, we loved the cafes to sit and eat and enjoy the areas we were exploring. In the States, cafes are not really a staple in communities like they are in places like London or France. I can still remember walking to a cafĂ© on a Sunday night full of crowded people still having a merry time with family and friends. Our culture isnât in the same sort of social capital, but man, we ache for those experiences.
McAlisterâs provides that sense of nostalgia for our traveling in the sense that it brings great crowds of people after church on Sundays, opens its door until late in the evening, and always has a caring staff to connect and share life with. We always found a space each week to connect with the people who serve in this establishment, and itâs the reason why weâve been going for so many years.
From Brendan Shupe, the current general manager, sharing tips to his employees in personal finance or celebrating the birth of Chrisâs son, Henry, there are people there who are deeply rooted to serving others the sweet tea goodness, laughs, and a simply âhugâ in food.
I know that there are so many places we can try and experience in this very competitive market and world in the States, but McAlisterâs has done something truly unique for us.
They set a high standard of an atmosphere that transcends restaurant into a place of comfort and feeling of home.
For that, weâll be entertaining ourselves in their âcafĂ©â for unforeseeable future!
Highly recommend for family, community, and a sense...
Read moreWorst experience ever!!! The McAlister's Deli at the Hamilton Towne Center in Noblesville should be a shamed of their poor customer service!!!! Beware of the free delivery promotion!!!
Situation: I received an email from McAlister's Deli offering free delivery. As a busy parent working from home, I was excited. I click the link that took me to McAlister's website. Entered my information, placed my order, selected the free delivery option and paid!!. I received text and email notification that my order would be delivered at 1:42pm. Great! Then I get a text and email notification 10mins later saying that my order delivery was cancelled. Email said to call McAlister and provided the location's number. I called McAlister to inquire about my order. The girl on the phone was no help. They couldn't locate my order or track the status. Then they told me that DoorDash pick-up that order and I would have to call DoorDash because they don't know what happens to the order once DoorDash pick-up. I responded; let me get this straight; you have an agreement with a third party vendor to provide delivery services for your food and there is no accountable that this vendor has to delivery the food. They can take my food that I purchase and cancel my delivery order with no accountable to McAlister and I have to track them down to find my food??????? Nowhere on your website does it say you are using a third party vendor and you are not accountable after the food is pick-up nor I'm provide any contact information for DoorDash. To make it worst, I asked for a refund and was told they could not provide a refund because the order was through DoorDash, although my credit card says McAlister Deli pending. After a very very long conversation with the manager (needs customer service training), she offer to remake my food and I can come and pick it up. So I had to pack up a 6yo mask and all and drive down to pick-up my food 2hrs after I place my order!!
McAlister perhaps you need to not offer a service that you can't not provide!!!!!! VERY BAD...
Read moreWe did the curbside pickup this evening and spent about $50 on our meals. The food was supposed to be brought out to the car at 7:30 my husband called me at 740 after getting there 20 minutes early and said hey they still havenât come out. I asked if the signed said to call, he said no. Iâm just gonna go in. My husband went in and they couldnât find his order. So I called at 743 and spoke to Allison (a very rude manager) who went on to ask if my husband was in a snow hat and said yea heâs getting your food now the strawberry lemonades right! I said two strawberry peach lemonades. She said well heâs leaving now and in the future you need to call. I said well the app nor your sign says to call and I put in my make and model of my vehicle. She then told me also our kids arenât supposed to go out at night for safety reasons. Which I was like youâre in one of safest areas in central Indiana what are you concerned about not to mention you offered a service where you come to the car when the food is ready and then didnât want to deliver on that service. She then was just like well thatâs what we do here and itâs Noblesville not fishers, (itâs on the border so she got me there!) I then told her ok you know what Allison Iâm just gonna call corporate. To which she was like what no. Then when my husband came home with the food all of it was WRONG. When I called to tell her I would definitely be calling as are food was wrong. She then got ruder and said âoh ya oh ya what was wrong with it huh, what was wrong with it.â Which who talks to customers like that. I was like ok well just letting you know the food was also wrong. She then said âGo ahead call corporate I already called my boss so I donât care.â Well Iâm glad you can make food wrong and not do your job and talk to customers the way you do. I have never had a bad McAlisterâs experience in my life until Allison. But let me explain paying $50 for sandwiches deserves better apologetic behavior. This McAlisterâs need to learn about...
