I consistently receive the worst service at this location. The management is never there after 6 PM. The crew they have working is a bunch of kids who would rather hang out in the back while the customers are ignored. I and another customer stood in line while being ignored for at least 5-7 minutes. I watched one guy whistling while playing around with the other employees distracting them. The employee taking our orders would ask what we wanted and then get distracted and walk off and do other things and then come back and repeat himself.
When he did it to me...I paused and when he came back again I asked him if he was ready to actually wait on me. I told him it was really frustrating to be asked to give my order while he walks off doesn't look at me or focus on the customer. He basically ignored everything I was trying to communicate as if I had the problem.
When it was time to be rung up a girl in the back came out and was lost to what was going on and asked me a question about my bowl but was interrupted by the one dude who was playing around whistling. Finally when she was ringing me up I thought she was talking to me or another employee but was actually talking to a someone on her phone via her Apple AirPods . This location is consistently horrible for their customer service. The place is never clean and there is no leadership whatsoever. The employees are all young teenagers or young adults with no clue to being professional, customer focused, friendly and efficient. They could care less about the customer.
This place has severe customer service issues which could easily be fixed with a manager there to guide and direct them and train them. The owner of this location better make changes quick because people are not coming back.
This location is absolutely horribly managed...
Read moreFood was great but service was bizarre. Tl;dr: I was berated by two different employees while just trying to order a burrito.
Full story: Went to lunch here today. This location currently has altered hours, probably due to the labor shortage. They opened even later than posted hours but whatever. It was just a few minutes. No big deal.
When I got to the front, I asked for a burrito with no rice. The guy asked what kind of rice I wanted, and I repeated, “No rice.” He then proceeded to give me a lecture about how I have to tell him everything I want. I… know that? Usually employees just ask questions like what kind of rice, what kind of meat, etc., and don’t seem to want everything upfront.
Later down the line, I asked for pickled red onions. An emoyee asked if I wanted pickled red onions or pickles jalapeños, and I repeated pickled red onions. The employee started to get me regular red onion, so I repeated that I wanted pickled red onions. I don’t think I was rude or anything. In a very exasperated tone, the employee told me, “That’s what I said!” I tried to explain, but he just brushed me off.
This is easily one of the weirdest experiences I’ve had a food place. I had to sit there eating my burrito feeling like an idiot. My guess is that everyone here is feeling stressed out and overworked due to the staffing issues, but this is just basic being nice to your fellow human...
Read moreEven though the restaurant says vegetarian friendly, be sure to watch carefully as they make your food. My girlfriend has been a vegetarian for many years and will get sick if her food comes into contact with meat. When the employee helped the people in front of us, he took the spoon for the eggs and pressed it into the chorizo already on the burrito, and then put the spoon back in the eggs, thereby cross contaminating them. When they put eggs on her burrito we had to point out that there were pieces of sausage and chorizo oil in her burrito even though he also saw them before asking us what else we would like on our burrito. Anyone not paying attention has the potential to get very sick from that, and Qdoba should do better to train their employees on proper food handling and management. We are both very upset, and will not be returning to...
