After a very long wait, we finally got to order... First our waitress never brought our water that we asked for, never asked if I wanted ranch or celery with my wings... So when I finally do ask for the forgotten things on her part... She doesn’t just go get them. She takes not one but two very large tables orders. I asked two other people. First woman I asked was rude and told me to ask my own waitress. Second man must have been there training the horrible wait staff because he was AWESOME and didn’t make me wait 15 minutes after I had asked for a basic condiment to bring it to our table. We enjoyed our food. This awesome man also told us about their wing special since it was Thursday... He said it would be cheaper that way than just ordering a large wing. We brought that to our waitress’ attention. She said she would fix it. Then she came back and said, “I talked to a manager and she can’t fix it since it’s already on your bill. Do you want me to go get her so you can talk to her even though she can’t do anything about it?” Uh. Yes. Then about 10 minutes later she comes back and said she got the right manager to fix it for us. They also charged us for two cheesy fries even though they offered to bring us another without us really wanting it. (The first order of fries was with slices of cheese and microwaved. Ew.) We waited 5 minutes to be seated when there were multiple tables available, there were even more that had not been bused and it only got worse from there. Waitress didn't have or know the beer menu (she could be new), it took 20 minutes to get our drinks, served our wings without bringing napkins, there was no shortage of staff yet we watched server after server pass by the tables that had not been cleared. We ordered the hottest wings available and our server allowed both our beer and water glasses to become empty during dinner and we had to leave the table to get refills of both. The waitress was more attentive to bringing us the check and our payment vs the dining experience. If I was the manager, I'd be ripping the staff a new *## and if I was the owner who had tables not filled, customers waiting for said tables and staff not meeting the needs of the customer and in the process, selling more beer in this case, I'd be finding a new manager. Read moreI was excited to see how the bww is back in Norfolk! I stopped in and was very dissappointed. It was about 1:30 on a Tuesday, and it took about ten minutes for the wait staff to make it to our table. The entryway smelled pretty strongly of stale beer that hadn't been cleaned up. Then we ordered drinks and they again took quite a while and came two at a time (there were four of us). We did eventually order, and not only did the wings and fries we ordered on wing Tuesday take about 40 minutes, there also was not a visit to our table to refresh our drinks, and even after the food came, it was dropped off in a hurry and we continued to sit without beverages until the manager on duty stopped by to kindly ask how our experience was. We mentioned that we had no drinks, and she went to tell the waitress that had been ignoring us who then got us a drink. There were eight tables to start with and three when we left.
