Charleys Cheesesteaks — Restaurant in Norfolk

I was first introduced to Charley's via the MacArthur location. I had ordered the Philly Cheesesteak and the gourmet fries, and was instantly addicted. The sandwich tasted like love, all of the wonderful flavors and juices melding together to form perfection. The cheese sauce especially had a distinctive flavor to it, a hint of something unique, that workered wonders.

When I ordered the same items from this new location around September 2017, the sandwich was just as phenomenal. However, the cheese sauce on the gourmet fries was lacking that extra little something that made it special. Inspite of that missing mystery ingredient, the fries were still good, and like I said the sandwich was amazing. I'll just have to go back to MacArthur whenever I'm craving those fries.

I should also point out that this new location was difficult to find at the time, as there were no signs directing where to go, nothing (not even the directory) indicating that it's located inside the Food Court, or that the Food Court is inside Guest Services. The Food Court wasn't even mentioned on the directory at the time. Hopefully the directory has been...

Food is great! And the lady taking orders was super nice and got my order correct on the screen….only problem was when I got home I found my order was not correct at all….considering I got 2 Philly cheese steaks but was given one steak and one chicken as well as the toppings being correct as well. Could have been in order mix up but I live too far away to just drive back. I also saw one of the workers . The only way I can describe her is the “older asian woman”(sorry I didn’t see a name tag) but she used the spoon from the fruit container to fill her water canteen and actually touched the spoon to the mouth of the bottle. Put it back into the fruit container and then did it again. She then took the same bottle and pressed it onto the lemonade dispenser….I thought maybe she used a straw and was going to let it go, but then she started drinking from the mouth of the bottle so I felt I had...

I went to Charlie's cheesecakes August 10th and 2:00 in the afternoon upon arrival there was plenty of parking and clean parking lot .. entering I noticed It was quite empty although clean The staff was not as friendly or as knowledgeable I didn't get a very well greeting I didn't get a smile I didn't get that customer service that I was looking for I ordered the original cheese steak for the price that it was I expected a little more The bread was not toasted the meat was not properly mixed with the cheese and the other vegetables or lack thereof and we used to having green peppers and onions The amount of food was fine The tea was pretty good My mother loved the barbecue balls but I don't think that I will be revisiting this store unless I'm invited out again for the event for my mother's birthday although I urge you to try for yourself because what doesn't work for me May...
