This place perfectly embodies healthy, delicious, and incredibly satisfying food with a fantastic, laid-back vibe. First and foremost, the poke bowls are a revelation. The fish is consistently fresh, sushi-grade, and beautifully marinated. Whether you go for a classic like the O.G. or something with a kick like the Sweet & Spicy, each bowl is a vibrant explosion of flavor and texture. You can tell they prioritize quality ingredients, and it makes all the difference. Beyond the poke, their acai bowls are a pure delight. Don't waste your time, go to Town Center Cold Pressed instead, they answer their phones, have a website for orders, and have a store you can actually walk into. I have been solely going to zeke's for smoothie bowls since before COVID but they have gone downhill tremendously since then. It's impressive how hard it is to place an order at the norfolk location, they don't have a website to place orders, will mess up orders through grubhub, and don't answer the phone. They let it ring once or twice without answering or will block well, then will pull the phone off the hook 30-45 minutes before closing. It's very difficult to place orders for offices or groups, let alone for yourself without going in person. Customer service at the door has worsened as well. I want to shout out Matt for being absolutely amazing during my first visit! He was incredibly patient with me, listened to my preferences, and went above and beyond to substitute ingredients in my bowl since I don’t eat a lot of raw food. He made the experience so pleasant, and I truly appreciated his understanding and flexibility.

However, when I returned for a second visit, the manager (A woman) was less accommodating. While she eventually made the substitution, she did so with an attitude and made it clear it would be the last time. I’m not sure what the big deal is, but I hope the staff can keep in mind that small adjustments like this can make a huge difference for customers like me.
