Bayou Billy's — Restaurant in North Carolina

On our visit here at Chimney Rock we stopped in here to get a parfait and a banana split... The young lady that was working there will do her grandma Justice and she was doing quite well... I was very impressed with her and I even told her that one day she going to be a millionaire with her work ethics.. :-).. you go girl..:-) ;-) Later that day we went back and got to meet the owner which was the girl's grandmother and again our experience was excellent.. Yes I suppose somebody could complain about the price but why.??. we got a banana split and a parfait and it was about $10 . we think it's a great deal and it was absolutely wonderful.. I have never been to the establishment, but tried to place an order for popcorn online and know to never do that again. I placed my order at the beginning of the week (Monday), but did not receive a confirmation from Bayou Billy of any sort. I tried calling them several times but could not reach anyone on the phone. I tried using their "contact us" feature on their website with no response. I finally sent a Facebook message on Friday asking for the tracking number and stated if the package had not yet shipped to just refund my order. The message was never responded to, but I did receive my money back on Saturday. I received no apology for holding my money for a week. This place is a great example of an establishment who does not care about their customers as long as they get money. Will never try to support this...

Last minute stop before returning home, my daughter really wanted a funnel cake so we stopped here to get one. Ordered quickly, they seemed to have other good dessert choices on the menu like fried Oreos, they offer you sweet tea in a cute mug for $8 with $1 refills seemed a little high, didn’t get that.
