Hibachi To Go — Restaurant in North Carolina

... with our carry out meal. They probably even thought I was trying to get something for free. I realize that happens, especially since I'm in the service industry. I ,also, realize not every situation is perfect. Stuff happens BUT...

I found a HAIR in my meal that was clearly not ours. Of course as most of us would do, I stopped eating my dinner. We discussed calling in the issue. My husband so didn't want to make the call, nor did I. But I thought we paid for the meal and I had only eaten 1/4, if that much. Even though I felt guilty, I called anyway.

When I talked to an employee (not even sure they were the manager and because I was still feeling guilty I didn't want to press that fact) I was told every employee wears a hat & then there was silence. Once again feeling like the guilty party, I apologized for calling and stated I wasn't looking for a free meal, especially since I had eaten some of the meal. I, however, did want some kind of compensation or a true HEART FELT apology. I received neither.

My husband loves this restaurant and I've always been on the fence. To top that off we purchased some apps and cheesecake...

Update 1/15/15:

As I do with all places, I revisit the ones that I rated poorly first to give it a second chance, as I know not everyone is on their A game 24-7. Well that was the case for my original review for this hibachi restaurant. This time around the hibachi was very good, reasonably quick service and good prices too. Overall, a good spot to grab some cheap tasty filling hibachi!

Ordered 4 Lil Hibachi, 3 shrimp and 1 vegetable. My understanding that the lil Hibachi is just a smaller portion of the regular hibachi, which included vegetables. However, once getting home and opening the containers, there were no vegetables to be found, just rice and shrimp... The one vegetable only dish had vegetables that were wilted, not fresh at all. I called in one Saturday night at around 8 and placed my order. It was over $60 and I added all the extra stuff like broccoli, mushrooms, and even asked for no onions on one. I got 5 pieces of broccoli between 3 plate. One plate had no carrots and they were all supposed to have them. No mushrooms. The plate that was supposed to not have onions, had onions. The one that was, had none. On one of the chicken and steak plates my chicken was undercooked. I even called the next morning because I was one of the last orders of the night, was told, I’d be contacted by someone there for a resolution and never was. It was expensive as hell to not even be able to eat the food because none of it was right. This place used to be my favorite but not anymore.
