I have not had the food yet. I am aware there are no side salads or anything healthy here. Tasia, our server was not only very helpful she assisted us in navigating the "no changes" menu. This place is run like a Asian takeout. No customer service from the decision makers. Only attempts at satisfactory dining experience from the servers. I know their online menu states beer and wine. As of today, that is a lie. Tasty Crab House does NOT have a liquor license. Yes, it's false advertising on their part. What do you expect? It's an Asian seafood restaurant that knows NOTHING about customer service. To include, the atmosphere is "club music". Not a pleasant atmosphere for seafood eating. The bar is not decorated and bare. Thank god are server was kool. I don't recommend this establishment although, I do recommend Tasia! OK. Had the food. Orders crab legs and sausage. Comes in a bag and who knows what chemicals transfer from the plastic bag to the food. The crab was blatantly old as it did not home together when extracted from the shell. The sausage, meh. We will see if I get sick tomorrow off of any of what I ate. Overall, service was challenged by management and aside from that 4/5. Food is definitely a 1/5. This place is run off the leftovers from the buffet next door. Same crab leg picture is posted on both, separate businesses, glass fronts. If not for the service, a one star eatery...
Read moreI visited Tasty Crab on Sunday. I ordered the Fried Oyster Basket with plain white rice as my side order. I bit into the first oyster and it was okay. I bit into the next oyster and I tasted a sour yucky taste. I said wow, then bit into the third and experienced the same sour taste. There are some things that you cannot disguise to people of a certain race; that is substandard chicken and substandard seafood. I contacted Tasty Crab to make them aware of the situation, but no one answered the telephone. Therefore, on today, I called back and the male that answered told me that I had to prove to him that the oysters were sour. How was I going to do that? I threw the sour oysters in the trash. If they answered the telephone on Sunday night, I would have gladly taken it back. But let me say what I feel this equates to....In my opinion, so many people eat there that they could never believe that bad seafood does exist. I told him that he could at least apologize for the substandard food. He refused to apologize. In my opinion, the oysters were bad. He gave no level of a resolution. Therefore, let me help you by me NOT coming back. It is amazing how some people want your money, but they could care less about how they treat you. I had a professor in college that would always say the following: To be forewarned is to...
Read moreNo comparison. THE FOOD DOESN'T TASTE NOTHING LIKE JUICY SEAFOOD Savannah GA. I order crablegs with shrimp and sausages. The 3 seasons/mild. I drove 1 hr to try this new location out Wed afternoon. They didn't have any alcohol but that's ok. They haven't been open long. The customer service was great until I got my food. Waiter always took long to bring something back. The to go food bag, drink, check and the receipt. She kept coming back with nothing. Saying I won't be mad if you don't leave me a tip. A table of 5 had a complaint about something and she forgot about everybody else on her list. After 1 hr of falling to sleep at the table I got up and ask cashier for a to go bag. The waiter had my drink in her hand still talking to the table of 5. I told them I'm never coming back. I had a little juice in the bag. I had crablegs shrimp sausuges. No taste. It was ljke it was thrown together. Try Savannah location then you will understand why I'm disappointed with this location. You don't need extra gatlic butter if all the juices was in the bag and the taste in the food. Savannah you recommend but never again. Oh yea I did see the other waiters...
