My wife and I needed to buy a new bed - our first "new" mattress. Every other bed we had owned had been a hand-me-down from friends or family. We came here on a whim while out running errands just to price shop and get a sense of what the prices looked like. We were greeted right away by Chris Moreland, one of the managers. He helped us for over two hours to find a mattress that we liked that was also within our budget. And since it was in stock we were able to have it delivered that day. He also bundled into the deal a frame (since we were moving up from a queen to a king) for 1/2 off the normal price and a waterproof mattress cover for free. We thought we had bought the perfect bed but after 3 weeks of uncomfortable sleep we had to rethink our decision. We spent a long weekend out of town and got better sleep on the hotel mattress than our new mattress at home. So when we got back to Charleston we went in to visit Chris and told him about our problem. Fortunately because of Mattress Firm's 100 Day Happy Guarantee, Chris was able to put us on a new mattress, at no cost, and the new one was actually about $300 cheaper than the first one we bought. Again, the mattress we chose the second time was in stock and we were able to have the new swapped for the old just a couple hours later. Which, by the way, the delivery guys are awesome too! The best part is that Chris assured us the second mattress is still under the 100 Day Happy Guarantee so if a couple weeks down the road this second mattress isn't comfy we will still be covered. Overall Mattress Firm provided us with excellent customer service and Chris is one of the most personable sales guys I've ever met. ASK FOR CHUCK!

After researching mattresses online, my husband and I wanted to test out the feel before purchasing. The store was clean, and enforcing all social distancing protocols. We were on a mission, and were hoping to get in/out after laying on a few beds. Enter Chuck. Chuck is the best salesman we have ever encountered. He introduced himself, said he would be around as much or as little as we need. He asked what our mission was, and absolutely knocked it out of the park. He never tried to up sell us, or push us to their ‘deals’. Chuck was extremely knowledgeable about each brand/model/series they offered which came in handy. My husband and I want to get rid of our cal king, and replace with two twin XLs as we both desire different firmness. Chuck worked with us to find something in our budget- suiting each of our needs- and found two mattresses when side by side won’t look off (something we didn’t consider when shopping online). I was very pleased with my experience at Mattress Firm today. Upon entering the store, I was greeted warmly. As I explained what I was looking for in a mattress, Preston took notes, asking me questions so he would know how best to direct me.

He showed me a couple mattresses and explained how they were made and the aspects of each. As we were looking and I tried a couple beds, I asked to see the same brand I have had for the past years as I liked that brand. But it was time for a new one.

From our discussions, he directed me over to a mattress that was perfect for me. I laid down and knew this was the one. He gave me a thorough background of how it was made and answered all my questions. I was very impressed with his knowledge but also very impressed there was no pressure to buy.

I also spoke to Chuck, the manager, and both he and Preston were very helpful in my purchasing my new mattress. Can not wait for my first nights sleep!
