Mood - Cinco de Mayo
So every year yes it is Taco themed usually. And this particular year I was in the mood for Gorditas. Not everyone can make them correctly and sometimes the flavor is really bland. That is where this restaurant completely stole the show.
Upon entering was quickly greeted with great customer service and given the run down of remaining items on the menu. It appears their carnitas are a major hit and was told if this is something I would want to try in the future to come earlier. Now this has my attention.
I opted for the Pollo and Queso Gorditas, Carne Asade Burritos, and Carne Asade Fries, plus Horchata and Jamaica. Where do I start? The beefiness of the burritos, that inhouse Gordita dough, or the fries? However wherever I start it was all devoured and the family was looking for more. It was amazing. Sad part I really dont know why I have not entertained this restaurant before. Also, their Guacamole was amazing. I bought extras and used it all.
Interior is several table and chair arrangements. You order at the front counter, pay, and they bring your food to you. Music was playing in the background and a television was going. Everything was very clean. Staff was wearing masks to ensure good ol Covid safety.
Would most def recommend -pricing cheap. Portions very generous. Staff was very friendly and hospitable. I honestly enjoy great...
Read moreThe food was nice and warm. You could tell the gorditas were handmade. The asada meat in the gordita was tender, flavourous, and delicious. The chorizo con papa gorditas were bomb dot com. I really like that the lady gave us 2 warm fresh salsas. They were pretty good and not too spicy. She also gave us free tortilla chips to eat before we got our food. Excellent customer service overall The ambiance was...
Read moreOh gosh where do I start. Firstly, I love to support small business. I think the small places, whole in a wall are the best places to eat. You get an amazing authentic flavor that BIG places just can't fulfill, hence the reason I came here. The place is SMALL. The girl on the register did not seem to help with any recommendations on the menu. The food was taken out fast, but it lacked flavor. I really wanted to like it, I got a burrito gorditas AND tacos and they all failed the taste test. The salsa was horrible. It breaks my heart leaving this review but I'm only...
