Poke Express — Restaurant in North Las Vegas

I stopped in here with my lovely date, whom was treating me to some delicious food that was quickly and expertly prepared by these crafty person's . They provided recommendations and were very patient through all of my Uh's and Um's as I slowly figured out what I wanted. We got to the register and paid for our meal, happy with the enticing results waiting to be devoured. We took these delicious looking creations back to our car and drove down away. You might think their customer service ends there but lo, ye are mistaken. We drove a block away and we're stopped at the next red light, enjoying some smooth jazz. I hear a faint rapping and tune it out the first time. Again, the tapping continues. I look at the beauty in the driver's seat, quizzically, to find a look of pure shock on her face. A perfect display of SHOOK. I follow her stare out the passenger side window and immediately my face mirrors hers. The small Asian man that crafted our dinners is panting outside our window. I roll it down and through heavy breaths he says "I forgot your shrimp tempura.". My jaw dropped. Traffic is staring. Amazing I love this place and will be returning. Their food is so fresh I mean wow and so good. My kids my husband and my mom all got To try. We love raw fish, sushi rolls so poke was a perfect place to consider. I didn’t know this was a market and they have some e fresh water items for u to select. The place is tiny but the food served packs q punch. The ladies are so helpful and patient and helped us make some amazing choices. So I don’t remember what we had but we did a garlic and spice poke and a regular poke I don’t recall the name of it but one had spice the other wasn’t spicy. The poke just melts away if u thought u loved sushi ure gonna love poke cut the BS out (rice) go straight for the gold the meat :) best poke place in town so far. The plates were abt 13-15 each but they were huge trays they had so much good fresh rice amazing huh I end up talking abt getting rid of rice from sushi yet they don’t fully leave it out. They add an extra topping seaweed sesame, it’s amazing don’t skip that make sure u add it in. We tried the crab salad mix they had prepared and it was ok. Every time I go to Vegas, I must eat here!! Poke Express has the BEST Poke I've ever tasted and I'm never disappointed!! Not sure what to get, you can sample everything. They also sell Hawaiian products, chocolate covered macadamia nuts, ice cream, pancake mixes, spices, drinks, and chips, etc. I love their POKE!!

Highlight I LOVE the Kim Chee Cucumbers, Ocean Salad Spicy Ahi Poke, Spicy Wasabi Poke, and the Smoked Tako!!!! The poke is always fresh and flavorful!! I like to pair some of the poke with their Shoyu sauce; just ask for it. My favorite drink is the Hawaiian Sun Lilikoi Passion but I also like the Guava Nectar, Passion Orange Drink, and the Strawberry-Guava Nectar. Each one has different blends of tropical flavor.

Tips There are food places in the plaza that serves brown rice. Eat it with brown rice or the shrimp chips, it's good!!
