Every experience here is horrible. You would think I would have learned by now. If I didn't live 3 mins away and really love smoothies more than I hate the frustration with each encounter at this location. Something is always broken. Either the drive-thru speaker, supposedly their app where you are not only cheated out of the points towards the measly rewards they offer, but also required to use cash "with no receipt provided" which sounds like a pretty good scam they have running to me. Never do they have all the ingredients for my entire order. Keep in mind, I usually have to purchase for the whole family which is 5-6 smoothies. So that is about $$33-$38 a pop. The last time there was no pineapple for the 4 paradise points I ordered. So basically paying for partial product. I even called before I ordered to try to confirm they had everything, but guess what? This location also NEVER answers their phone. Of course I ordered in advance for pickup on the app to ensure I would not have to pay cash. So not able to refuse the order because I had already been charged. The time before they were out of blueberries for the acai berry blast. The employees are super rude and because they have whatever side hustle going on when you order through the drive thru they can't keep the order straight and remember what you ordered. (If you are going to require cash and not enter the order into the system at least get the customer you're hustling order correct, you should at least write it down). I have also ordered in advanced for pickup so I could have it ready before I headed down the way for a nail appointment. The pickup time came and went and my order ahead still took 20 minutes for the girl to make which made me late for my appointment. Then they act like you are the inconvenience because you are now frustrated. They never have their hair pulled back, gloves, and seem to worry about their eyelashes and nails more than anything. (At least we know where our smoothie $ is going when they can't accept app or card payments). So we can pretty much guarantee that mask compliance is not being met properly 100% of the time. I had a male employee come out to inform me 3 trips ago while I waited in the drive thru that the speaker was again broken and of course come directly up to my open window with no mask whatsoever to inform all of the customers who were in line. There is a phone number on the pickup window that says to contact management with any concerns or if you were not provided a receipt. I have called that number too many times to count and left messages about the different awful experiences and not receiving a receipt. Never have I ever received one call back. If you look at every of one of the negative reviews, the owner seems to leave a canned response about how every experience should be golden and to use the contact us form at Tropical smoothie to tell them how your experience could be better. Guess what? They don't respond to that either. This location needs to lose their franchise license or they need to be looked at very closely because it seems like whoever should be in charge doesn't really care about the business. It is so run down and they also decide daily what hours they are going to keep depending on how they feel. Very sad that sometimes I even will drive all the way to Cheyenne and Tenaya or all the way to East Bonanza just to get a complete smoothie. Not to mention all the points I have missed out on by being unable to use my app to pay. None of the other locations seem to have...
Read moreI NEVER EVER review fast food places because i know that sometimes its naturally going tho be a hit or miss. Despite having high standards, snd a culinary degree, i truly understand the silent struggles of fast food cooking. However, if you are going to make me wait 25 minutes for 1 smoothie, at least be nice to me.
I entered the restaraunt at this location with one customer walking to the register. I was waiting behind him for at least 8 minutes before his order was taken. I was aware it was in the middle of the lunch rush, but him and I were the only people inside the store. After taking his order, the cashier told me to hold on, and i waited for 10 minutes in line. Why not just take my order after the gentlemans, work thrpugh the drivethrew orders, then come back with both our items, since we walked through the door at the same time?
I tried to order a sandwhich and i was told they couldnt make any food. There was no "im sorry we are out of turkey" or "our grill is down," nothing, not even an apology, after waiting in line for nearly 20 minutes total. It took another 5-10 minites for my drink, which i only ordered because i already spent so much time in the store. I really feel like they lied about the food simply so they wouldnt have to make it. Granted, there were only 2 guys working, but i would have waited, or even accepted the truth that they were too busy and...
Read moreI went here today to pick up an Uber eats delivery. I saw the customer's drink, but no food. I stood and waited to be acknowledged from the cashier. Nothing. She just continued closing her drawer. Not even a little smile. Then another worker walks up, also no acknowledgement or smile. He goes to help her. Still standing and waiting patiently at the counter. A worker that was in the back making drinks was the only one who acknowledged me. And she was in the back!!! Making drinks!!! I got full eye contact and a smile. Through the glass window!!! After 8 minutes of standing there, the guy finally asks if I was waiting for food. I answered yes and continued to wait. Someone walked in after me and she greeted me as a worker should have. What?! Why is a fellow customer treating me with better customer service than the workers?! Anyways, I stood there for another 10 minutes (I could be exaggerating a little lot), but still nothing. They continued talking and playing around in the back as if they didn't have a customer. Now I know why this place is always empty when I pick up an order. There's no customer service. There's no welcoming vibe. You need to be starving with no other choice but to eat here. This should be the last resort place. I think you'll have more luck digging through the trash for food than...
