Roberto's Taco Shop — Restaurant in North Las Vegas

The problem with being mixed is having your white mom go pick up our Tacos and the server not only forget to give us part of our order but get the rest wrong. If I want something fried I'll get a tostada, but when I want a chicken taco like I normally do I want a soft tortilla. If I want a hard taco I'll go to Taco Bell for that garbage. Not only was the taco the most disgusting greasy mess I've ever witnessed, it was bland. I couldn't even palate it. (I did this first, in not one of those people) When we called to get what we missed he was dismissive of my mother and switched to Broken English and pretended not to understand and that they don't have unfried tacos. That is a damn lie and we all know it. All I wanted as my beans and taco. I specifically asked for both.

This Roberto's, in particular, is the reason I will continue eating here. Because of my schedule, Roberto's is probably the greater choice of 'fast food' compared to the usual McDonald's, Jack in the Box, and the like. But lately, there wasn't anything spectacular about my Carne asada fries. Until the day I visited this Roberto's right here. The flavors of each ingredient were noticeable immediately. From the flavor of the meat, to the toppings; from the way the cheese melted evenly making sure to touch every fry. My Bf and I have decided that as long as the flavor stays strong as it was that day, we'd travel from any part of Las Vegas to visit that Roberto's. I only order the Carne Asada Nachos with everything on it whenever I visit Roberto's. I like to eat it with the red salsa sauce and a lime squeeze. It's usually always packed with meat and all the other ingredients, and is loaded with flavor. However, I've noticed that the taste somehow changed and seems to be less flavorful, and the meat seems dry. The flavor is still ok, but it doesn't really hit the way that it used to. On a more positive note, Roberto's is convenient and open 24 hours. So, if you are out partying late and need some food that will fill you up, Roberto's never fails. The service isn't terrible, and they have multiple stores...
