Well let's start with the good things, the place was clean, and the first gentleman started my order correctly, even though he wrapped the burrito a bit to tight and the shell tore at first it was no big deal. And that is the end of the good things. Now I get to the next person the one who puts it all together. This poor girl looked like she was just hired less than a half hour before I got there, because she looked so confused about everything. Now the customer ahead of me did have a number of items and that just made things worse for her. While she was trying to figure out what to do someone had set one of my items in the wrong place, and she proceeded to try and give it to the customer ahead of me. Even though I had tried to correct her a number of times, and the customer in front of me tried to correct her, it took the cashier to finally give me back my food so that it could be finished. Now this deer in the head lights confused girl had nothing but attitude towards me. She made it seem I was putting her out just to get some lettuce and some guacamole. Now for the cashier she wasn't much better she seemed to have forgotten that she had fixed a mistake for me because she just stood there and stared at me. When she finally realized that there was food sitting there under the a/c she asked if it was mine. I said yes those are mine sitting the getting cold. Now she did offer to reheat them not thinking about the toppings on them that you just can't warm up. So needless to say by the time I got home some 10 minutes later our food was barely warm. My dinner sat there under the a/c longer than it took to drive home. It's really sad we used to enjoy going to this restaurant but after this last time I won't be spending anymore more money with them, the food is good but not for the price. An extra 2 dollar's just for a little sauce and lettuce is ridiculous. All because you change from a burrito to an enchilada it...
Read moreI love cafe rio but this particular location is exceptionally bad. I have had negative experiences here multimple times before but today was particularly terrible. I ordered through the drive-thru and the man that assisted me was rude and sighed when I asked for tortilla strips. When I got home I noticed half of my food was missing. I called for a refund but the staff insisted that I must go to the restaurant to get my order refunded. This was extremely inconvenient because I live far from this location but I drove back. I arrived and spoke to an employee named Nia. The staff offered to give me my remaining order but I asked for a full refund instead because the food had been sitting for over 30 min. They printed me my refund reciept but I noticed that they only refunded me a partial refund. I restated that I asked for a full refund but Nia said that I need to provide her with a the rest of the order to get a full refund. I have worked in the restaurant industry and i found this distasteful. Regardless, I went to the car to retrieve my order. I gave them the order which they immediately tossed to the trash. Nia then printed a refund reciept for the remaining order. I am not sure if she ever refunded me my tip. I asked her my original reciept as well as my first refund reciept but she said she had thrown them away while I went to the car. I never asked her to do this. I asked for a copy of my reciepts but Nia said that she cannot reprint my refund reciept. What she did next shocked me. She literally asked me if I want to dig through the trash for my reciept that she threw away without my permission. This is extremely worrying given the current circumstances with covid-19. Its bad enough that Nia would not provide me a reciept (which i believe that I should be entitled to) but her asking me to dig through the trash during a health pandemic was dangerous and...
Read moreTHEY ARE TIPPING THEMSELVES ON YOUR CARDS. I was just at the Craig location in North Las Vegas, I ordered through the drive thru, just a plain burrito. When I got the the window to pay for my food I wasn’t given a total but handed the card reader. I inserted my card and it usually asks if I would like to leave a tip, today it did not it just told me to remove my card. The guy at the window said my food would be out shortly and did not give me a receipt. A few moments later he handed my food and then I drove off. I barely left the shopping center when I checked to see if the receipt was in the bag (because I wanted my points) there was no receipt which felt odd because they always give me a receipt. So then I check my bank account and I was charged $15+ on a burrito that’s $12+ (I know this because I get the same thing every time) so I drove back to find out what I was charged for. I asked to speak to a manager she asked for my receipt I told her I wasn’t given one. I told her I was over charged and I didn’t know if I was charged for something I didn’t get or if they decided to tip themselves on my card. She was able to pull it up and they indeed tipped themselves on my card. She said “maybe one of their fingers slipped” then she asked if there was anything wrong with my food I told her no I was just over charged and I did not authorize that tip. She then refunded me the tip in cash. Who knows how many people they are doing this to without their knowledge or authorization! They thought they could get away with it since they didn’t give me the receipt, only because I am a frequent customer I knew something wasn’t right. They are out here...
