Pinkys Tacos — Restaurant in North Lauderdale

This is the message I sent to Pinky's Tacos on Instagram 3 months ago and received NO response to date! "Hello, I ordered food from your establishment this past Saturday at the Holy Cow Ice Cream event (12/17/22). I was the last customer of the night at midnight. I was extremely excited to try out your tacos!! I ordered the Burrito combo (with no beans, no tomatoes, lettuce on the side), 4 Birria Tacos, and extra chips. I took the food home for my son and I to eat but realized I did not get the canned drink that was supposed to go with the combo. I then gave him one of my Birria Tacos and I cut off 1/4 of his Burrito for me to try. After I ate 1 of my Birria Tacos and a few bites of the Burrito, I threw everything right back up?!? I literally vomited in a Walmart bag i found in my house. I'm not sure what happened, but I have never thrown up from any tacos or Mexican food I've eaten in the past. I rarely ever throw up at all. Needless to say, I'm very disappointed I didn't get a chance to enjoy the Birria Tacos like I wanted. I'm hoping to get a replacement of the can of pop and a replacement Birria order, or a refund of the Birria order only. My boyfriend and I ordered from Ubereats tonight and we loved that they had a box for two (Birria Taco Box) with two drinks for $55. Presentation was beautiful and it comes with two consumes and two spicy sauces and toppings. My only reason for my 3 stars is that everything was incredibly spicy. I’m Cuban and love spice and so does my boyfriend we eat it on everything, but It was kind of unfortunate because the Birria consume seemed plain flavored with a huge kick of spice and the tacos with meat were also kicking with too much spice as well. It was hard to enjoy. We didn’t even need the extra spicy sauce and the limes enhanced it. I’ve eaten Birria at so many places and gotta say this is definitely for the ones who can handle it lol This is our experience of course, I’m sure it’s popular with others who may like it this way but we prefer a little more of a flavor profile. My new favorite Taco joint. Locally and family owned. Great story on how it got started. The owner started from her home, then she bought her own food truck and now her own restaurant. And now to the food. Five (5) stars all the way. The shrimp tostadas were amazing. We also ordered the chicken flautas and they were the best flautas I've had in a long time. Not all Mexican restaurants offer flautas. And if they do, they normally come out soggy. These were perfect and crispy. I've also had their birria tacos, and they blew me away. Can't wait to go back and try some more menu items. Customer service was impeccable. They also have a full bar and like 10 TVs for sporting events. I was told that on Tuesdays, they have a live DJ and great food and drink specials. In addition, they have happy hour Monday through Friday 4-7pm. Amazing deals such as $3 beers and 4 tacos for $10.
