Trapeze — Restaurant in Tamarac

So this is a review coming from a first time visitor and a newbie in the lifestyle. We (my wife and I) had seen reviews of the place but you always hear stories. Let me tell you our experience was AMAZING.

If you don’t want to read the whole thing, TL:DR - 4.5 stars & 10/10 would go again.

We went down on Memorial Day Weekend (Saturday) which was also our birthday weekend. We Uber’d there (no drinking and driving 😇) so we cannot speak to parking but as a side note, if you’re going out for the night don’t be cheap. Just drop $100 for Uber and have a great night worry free. (End of PSA). The staff at the front door was extremely friendly and helpful in getting us signed in as a member, labeling our liquor and just being pleasant in general.

IMPORTANT TIP: Bring your own cash to tip the staff (doorman, bartenders, locker room attendants, etc.). They do not have an ATM but will use the register as one. Unfortunately they only give $5s and $10s. So bring your own singles ($1) or just tip the bartender big and have them remember you.

The club is ample size with two bars on opposite sides of the establishment (with another bar in the play area). Dance floor is a good size for the relative size of the club (a tad on the small size but still fun). DJ is on point and plays a bunch of different styles of music.

Again, we’ve only been the one time (so far 😈😏) but everyone was extremely friendly. There was no pushy attitudes or any kind of hostility.

You will see people from all walks of life. Be curious not judgemental. Plenty of absolutely gorgeous people to talk to but plenty of just beautiful and attractive people as well.

We saw the buffet but didn’t get a chance to try it (first time jitters lol) but it looked delicious and well made and maintained. Apparently, The menu changes everyday and they do put effort into presentation. The only reason I gave it 4/5 stars is that I didn’t eat the food so just being honest.

The locker room to change is nice. Everyone gets a locker and the attendant is helpful in assisting you in finding an empty locker. Ample number of clean towels and condoms are plentiful at the desk next to the entrance to the locker room.

This next part is a bit of a blur (lol) but the play area is nice, with somewhere around 6 or so private rooms and a lot of open play space. Once things get moving, there’s a lot of bodies moving around. Again everyone was mostly respectful and everyone respected the boundaries we set as a first time couple (there weren’t many 😈). You’ll need to clean up before/after yourself but honestly i prefer it that way.

I’m sure I could nitpick somethings that were not done to my liking but all in all I would give Trapeze 5/5 stars and 10/10...

People who go there are mostly very respectful, there are some older folks,, however, they won’t look for anything with the younger couples. And to be honest, I wish I could be going to this club until I can’t walk anymore, and I would hope to be respected. Food is great, true. But Some comments here are not at all, the thing is that if you want to eat rice and beans, you do not travel to china right..?. The DJ has to be an artist, culturally sensitive, you cannot separate south Florida from Colombia, Venezuela, Dominican Republic , or Cuba. Probably 75 % of the people dancing at any club down here, are Latin. The DJ at trapeze on Wednesday, saturday, and Sunday is just amazing, he does his best trying to please every musical taste. But is not easy task. And u know what us latins, the bigger crow in the dancing floor, we wish every song was a Latin, but we understand, we just dance anything he throws at us, we are the bigger tippers as well, and never complain. We love American women and American music, just like we love and appreciate this great country. Most are crazy about our Latin beauties, they go crazy when Latin women mov their hips, to rhythm of our musc, but they don’t like our music, ironic ha..!! If u see something, try to do something instead of complaining about everything. I have gone to the back and ask for a towel to clean the dance floor, because someone spilled a drink, and if someone from the club s staff does it, I would tip them when I can. I don’t go around saying that the floor is disgusting. The play rooms do need work, the club has recently renovated the main area, and we hope the play room will get help soon. Prices are really up right now, and discounts have disappeared. Makes it harder to tip, no bueno for employees I guess ( whom by the way are amazing people) . Sometimes on Wednesday and Friday single men would wonder their ways around the area where they are not supposed to, and security would look the other way. So is not perfect, but believe me, it’s a lot of fun, and people are awesome. Come and see by yourself don’t let some of this...

This was our first time here and we didn’t know what to expect. Everyone that works there was extremely sweet and the place was clean, so that was great. A tour would have been nice though since we didn’t know where anything was. We ended up just sitting along the dance side watching others. Eventually a couple came up and talked to us, after awhile we played with them (both sides consenting in advance) until I noticed an extra hand on me 🤯 When I looked up at her she just said, “oh sorry is this okay?” Um, no lady! I don’t know you, I’m not comfortable with that rn. So she moved over to my partner who was already enjoying the company of others, which they ended up leaving the club because that coupe who didn’t even touch them made them that uncomfortable also. So while my wife was distracted with her, the guy that was with her decided he wanted to make out with me, with his hand on my throat! making it hard to push him away. My wife ended up flicking his hand to make him stop that but he did it again a minute later. I ended up reaching for any part of my wife I could find and dug my nails in letting her know I was not okay and wanted out of there! We should have turned them into the desk but I felt so violated by them that I didn’t even say anything to my wife until we were back at the hotel. We aren’t new to the lifestyle at all. My current partner and I have been in this LS for over ten years. So we’ve meet all kinds of handsy people, but the two last night take the biggest piece of that creeper cake! I might become a watch only part of this LS after last...
