I know review is long but please read until end!! I hope this reaches the Owner/General manager so it can be addressed. I was in the industry for many years at a repeatable establishment and started from the bottom and worked my way up to General Manager and the franchise owner would have fire me on the spot if this scenario would have unfolded (you be the judge). Well here is the back story. My wife and I were making a quick trip to North Arkansas to meet our family to pick up my niece for a weekend visit at our home in Louisiana. Our meeting spot was Dave's Burgers, I didn't know this until the start of our journey because we have never met here before! I was ecstatic because when my brother-in-law and family were down for a visit earlier in the year he was going on and on about David's Burgers. He was saying everytime he goes through the North Arkansas area he stops and eats there. He explained the process of the meats being ground fresh daily and bottomless fries. But he just said burgers were amazing! So, me being a burger guy I wanted one right then but tried to make a Llppmental note, but knew that wouldn't work because I forget things so I tagged them in my phone and put them on a special app I have. Okay, here is what happen, I realized that from our gps that we were not going to make it in time to have a sit down meal and because it said our arrival time was 8:50 and they close at 9:00. So, I had the bright idea to call my order in and eat it on the way back home, not ideal, but I just had to have one of those burgers! I looked at the online menu, picked what I wanted, and started calling. Did you catch that, started calling!!! I started calling North Little Rock location of David's Burgers for 45 minutes. I called for 45 minutes straight and it keep saying line was busy! I was irritated to say the least. But I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I said to myself, it is Friday night they are probably packed and short staffed and just maybe had to take phone off of the hook to catch up. So, I thought maybe they would serve me when we arrived at establishment. Remember it's 8:50!! We pull up and they already putting cones out! But we pull up to order station and a young lady comes out and says they are closed. I said it's 8:50! She said we close at 9:00 and I said I know but I've been trying to call you guys and no one picked up because said line was busy. She just said sorry we closed! Okay, I understand I usually don't order food from places that close to closing because I don't want them spitting in it or God knows what!! So we pull over to the side to wait for family to drop off niece, it's about 8:54, and this other car pulls up to the order station and the same little girl comes out and says we are closed! I heard the driver say it's 8:56 you gotta serve me! I'm sitting here watching and hearing some of it. I be dang if the girl leaves the car going inside then about a minute later another girl comes out the back and takes that cars order! It took every ounce of energy in me not to tell my wife to crank the car up and get behind that car. I was so angry! So I don't know how the food taste! But I know the customer service stinks! Oh, and by the way when we pulled up in the parking lot there were two cars in it and looked like what to be at least 4-5 employees in the building trying to clean the store so they could get out of there. Okay I get the labor cost analysis, and have people leave on time so you don't have to pay them overtime, but not at customer service expense! This was 10/11/20 (Friday night shift). Read moreToday July 1 2025 Around 6:45 I Went to David's Burgers in North Little Rock on McCain And it Was 4 cars there Including me The Service was Moving along Fine Then I Ended up Being The Number 1 Car And I Waited and Waited And Waited And I was looking in my rear view mirror as every car behind me was getting there food but I was still waiting and Number 1 Car Still 2 or 3 Different Workers Came up to me asking me was I someone else or asking me my name and I tell them my name and I have been waiting for over 15 Plus Minutes For my Food because I still Haven't Gotten My Food A young lady came out and asked me my name and I told her I haven't received my food yet she thought I had car problems I said no I'm still waiting on my food I was waiting on my estimated time over 20 minutes I was parked in the first spot besides the stop here signs I don't understand how everyone that pulled up after me received there food and more people was pulling up and they were getting there food but I was the last person to receive my food but I was parked in the First Parking Spot Now tell me who do I complain to at David's Burgers on McCain in North Little Rock about this because it wasn't right the young lady asked me I know you been waiting here for a while and do you want something to drink because I still haven't gotten my drink yet I waited there in the first spot for over 15 to 20 minutes on July 1 2025 around 6:50 to 7:10 or 7:15 then I got my food then I was gone I'm in shock over this experience so who do complain about this to the management or owner I got my drink 15 minutes late and got offered ice cream I said yes the workers thought I was having car trouble I was sitting there so long I said no I'm still waiting on my food and 3 different workers came to me with bags of food but it wasn't for me it was the cars behind me so I just wanted to share this unexpected experience what is the owner or manager name I need to...
Read moreI AM AMAZED by this company!!! I stopped in to David's Burgers to use the restroom and grab a quick bite to eat on my way home, and was immediately greeted by a sweet happy girl who opened the door for me, welcomed me and asked if it was my first time there. As I started to reply with a 'yes', the ENTIRE STAFF in the open kitchen started yelling welcome greetings at me with huge smiles! TOTALLY unexpected and made me laugh! The girl then proceeded to explain everything to me about the quality of their burgers and fries and the ordering process and then left me to decide on my order. Once I placed it, I went and used the bathroom after putting my order number on my table. When I came back out, my order wasn't there yet, but there was a bunch of hot fries waiting for me on a little placemat! I was like "what's this??" The waitress came around the corner with my order and said "Those are from the fry fairy!" LOL Too funny! 🧚♀️ Long story short, the food was even better than Five Guys, and the service was better than any place I've been to yet! While I was eating, the waitress kept stopping to give free fries to everyone and refilling our drinks. She also picked up the little boy at the next table over (after asking if it would be OK first, of course) and took him to get ice cream! But first she stopped by the waitstaff who all stopped what they were doing to smile, wave and say hi to him all excitedly. He was so happy! It was so freakin sweet to watch! 😁 Then when I left, they all yelled goodbye to me and thanked me for coming and the original hostess who walked me in, walked me all the way outside asking how everything was and what I liked best! SO SO SOOOOO IMPRESSED! I don't know how many restaurants they have, but if you get a chance, IT'S A MUST GO...
