It’d be a 0 Star review, but you do actually get something at the window...
If you live in Logan, UT, and drink any sort of beverage associated with a coffee house, don’t go to any of the Starbucks in the area, they are terrible.
Go to either Jitters, or Cafe Ibis.
I gave them plenty of chances to make a decent cup, but they couldn’t produce. The drinks are mixed in a very inconsistent manner, that suggest a total lack of employee training on the matter.
I do like the majority of Starbucks that I have been to, but these buildings in Logan are definitely a bad mark on the franchises name, and universal consistency...
I hardly ever leave a bad review, but I am hoping that someone in management or otherwise, will see this, possibly go to a different location down south, and see how much better of beverages are made by getting trained at another location...
If you are a customer reading this, then maybe they’ve made some staff or equipment changes since this review, but if at all you get a horrible cup, don’t keep going back thinking that next time it will be better, just go to one of the other recommendations...
Read moreThis store is always very very slow. I went today and the drive thru was pretty long and there were a lot of people inside. We waited in the drive thru for 45 minutes before getting to the window. When we finally were able to give our order we were told that they were out of chai. My response went exactly like this, “You’re kidding me?! I’ve just waited 30 minutes and you have no chai?” That’s it. That’s all I said then ordered what my daughter wanted. When we got to the window a girl who may have been a shift supervisor told me I was mean to her barista. That they are humans too and deserve respect. Lol I wasn’t mean. Annoyed, yes. Mean, no. She went on and on for 3 minutes telling me how mean I was. Meanwhile there was still a very long line ( maybe she was giving everyone a lecture, thus the long line 🤷🏼♀️). If you can’t handle the pressure of making drinks and heating food in a microwave change jobs. And if you think that was mean, you might be...
Read moreTL/DR: Dutch Bros for coffee, Kneaders for cookies.
I bought a cookie from Starbucks today. For $3.51, I got a bland, overcooked chocolate chip cookie.
If I cross the street and go to Kneaders, I can pay $3.66 for their chocolate chip cookie which is always well-cooked and has DELICIOUS chocolate in it.
Why would I pay $3.51 for your dry, mediocre cookies when I could pay $3.66 and get something wonderful? (Answer: I'm using up my Starbucks balance, then I'll stop going there. $11 to go!)
For the record, I stopped buying coffee at Starbucks after too many cups that were maybe 4/5ths-full. Nowadays I'm going to Dutch Bros and getting equally as good of coffee (and a full cup of it, no less).
So, to summarize: Dutch Bros for coffee, Kneaders for cookies.
(Btw, the photo is of the cookie after it had been cut into thirds and I'd eaten one of the pieces. Notice the dryness around the...
