I need to start taking the time to write reviews on different businesses and locations because it does come in handy. I just wish I had taken the time to read these reviews before going to this location. It irks me to know that I traveled that far instead of going to the one closest to my house. I've never been a fan of Denny's, but I've been getting tired of going to Ihop. It was the WORSE experience I've ever received at a Denny's. Food was horrible. I ordered the bourbon chicken skillet, nachos and those pancake bits. The chicken is the main part of the meal, but it was microwaved then put on the grill. The nachos were okay but the pancake bits was fried in old oil. My son ordered the gouda burger. Took two bits and said he was done. I couldn't argue because I tried it myself.Burger had no seasoning or flavor. Only thing was good were the fries.
Anyway, I cannot stress enough on how unprofessional and untrained those employees are. They conduct themselves as if it's a family owned business. Firstly, there's a podium for a hostess who's nowhere to found to greet customers. Secondly, it takes forever to get some attention from your waitress for anything. I read in the reviews that employees are friendly. THAT'S INCORRECT. They have no people skills and all they do is stand around speaking in their language. They should have been informed that speaking loudly among customers in a different language is extremely disrecpectful and uncomfortable. I would like to agree with the individual who pointed out the unkept conditions of that establish. It heavily needs a face lift, new management, and new employees of all races to accommodate certain customers. Read moreThis night shift is horrible. One dude tried to flirt with anything with legs. Alvinice is handling everything on her own. You can see the frustration but she is literally doing everything on her own. The older cook in the back is the only one who’s cooking on his own as well while the other guy tries to find a woman with a Vinicius Innards that will jump to the sky for attention. The older cook always gives his 100%. Betty as usual comes to work at Dennys and does nothing. I promise she’s always in la la la la land. The floor can be jammed pack and she will literally walk outside and smoke a cigarette and still do nothing. There’s no urgency in her. Walking around like a whole deer in the headlights. Then tries to take credit for another persons hard work in front of customers. How when you did nothing to help not try to offer empathy especially to customers who have waited. Nothing.
I waited 45 minutes for an order. Mind you, I was here before any customer came in and they were served before I even received my order. And I had a to-go order!!!! Terrible, terrible, terrible. Several people got their food before me. When I spoke to her, she angered me bad. Acted like I was a ghost speaking to her. She shouldn’t be a manager at all. No ethics or moral in her. And this is NOT the first time.
When will the general manager realize that night shift is no help with Betty? She doesn’t help or deescalate any customers anger or a co workers frustration. She’s always looking dumbfounded and knows nothing because she’s really lazy. And she’s still here!!!! I am a manager in the same industry and her work ethic would have her at the unemployment line. I will escalate this to corporate. Very unprofessional....
Read moreThis was a very poor experience and lack of customer service I received. I understand the times we are in at the moment but this is ridiculous. I ordered at 9:40 AM then arrived at the restaurant a a few minutes later than the ready time to give them time to complete the order. I arrived and no one checked if I needed help at order pick up for 10-15 minutes. I asked about my order and no one seemed to care and brushed it off as if they didn’t make the order yet. I waited almost an hour at this point and asked again and the staff didn’t seem to care and nonchalantly told me that they gave my order due to there being a lot of orders with my name on it. Most of the staff didn’t seem to take this seriously and were smiling in my face as if it was okay that I ordered a while before I came in and proceeded to wait over 30 minutes to even be told that they gave my food away. I asked for the manager for a refund and she also seemed not to care or take this matter seriously either. The manager was snarky and had poor customer service skills, I told her that I had waited over an hour for food the that they didn’t even tell me they gave away and now I must wait however else longer for my food? Even people who ordered after received their food before me. I asked for a refund and told her I will wait for the email and she rudely stated that I “Might as well wait for the food to be remade.” Is this how you talk your customer??? Then the reason she used for me wanting a refund was that I didn’t want to wait? Why would I wait an extra 30 minutes or so for food I ordered and hour ago and received no help...
