I've been to this Burger King (123rd and Biscayne) a few times and each time I do things seem to get worse. It's a beautiful brand new location that was closed for a long time when they remodeled it. I don't even know where to start. The first time I went in recently, I stood at the counter for about 10 minutes before anyone even greeted or acknowledged me. When they did I said I wanted to order and was told that I must do so at the kiosk. Having never used it, I wasn't familiar with how to order. A young man came out and helped me, and he was very friendly. Probably the only good thing I have to say for the place. But I thought to myself, if he came out to help, couldn't he just take my order at the register? But I got my food and went to sit down. It seemed a hurricane had blown through. All the tables were dirty. So I took my food to go. The next few times, same thing. Dirty tables, no one at the register. This time I ordered an Oreo Milkshake. I stood there and watched the girl make it. When she brought it to me I asked if it was indeed an Oreo shake because it looked like vanilla bean. ( Only tiny pieces of Oreo in the shake.). She said it was. I asked if this was normally how they came, she said yes. I knew that not to be true. They had run out of Oreos and she used the little bit of Oreo dust powder to make the shake. She had attitude the whole time so I asked for a manager. I asked the same question and the manager said, no sorry we are out of Oreos. I said then why lie? Just say that and I'll take it or try another flavor. She didn't apologize or anything just asked with an attitude if I wanted something else. I said no. Another time they served me stale, cold French toast sticks that had been sitting around I guess. They take 1:25 seconds to fry, but they had piles of them just sitting in one of the space heaters, already wrapped. I could go on and on but I won't. I've been coming to that Burger King since I was a kid and am sad to say that even though the place looks nice on the outside, it's a mess inside and the management doesn't even seem to care, because when I address the issues with them, their only response is, would you like us to change your food/shake/ whatever was wrong. No. What I would like is for you to do better. These are photos from my last visit, and quite possibly, my last...
Read moreDriven by a late-night food craving, I hopped into my car and headed to a nearby location for a quick bite. It was around 2:30 in the morning, and the place was supposed to be open until 3. As I approached the drive-through, I patiently waited for someone to respond, but after a minute of silence, I called out, "Hello?"
To my surprise, the staff member on the other end informed me that the location was closed. Certain that they were mistaken, I politely pointed out that their closing time was indeed 3 AM. However, instead of acknowledging the discrepancy, the employee insisted I was wrong and suggested I check the time on Safari. I mentioned that both Apple Maps and Google Maps confirmed the closing time as 3 AM, but her response was accompanied by a rude attitude.
Feeling frustrated, I decided to drive away and check the website to verify the closing time myself. To my dismay, the website clearly stated that they were open until 3 AM. Disappointed by the unnecessary confrontation, I returned to the drive-through and encountered the same staff member again.
This time, I calmly informed her that I had checked the website, which stated that they were open until 3 AM. Instead of providing a reasonable explanation, she raised her voice and claimed they were out of food. I expressed my disappointment at being lied to and emphasized that a simple explanation from the beginning would have avoided this situation.
Despite my efforts to address the matter respectfully, the staff member continued to respond with a nasty attitude, leaving me feeling both frustrated and upset. There was no apology or acknowledgment of their mistake.
Determined to resolve the issue, I have decided to follow up with the manager regarding this unfortunate incident. Everyone deserves to be treated with respect and honesty, and I hope this matter can be addressed appropriately to ensure a more positive experience for...
Read moreThis burger king is run by employees who clearly do not care about their jobs, the fact that they are preparing food is disturbing. Either they get your order completely wrong, over charge you or forget items every, single, time. I vowed never to come back but I was hungry and in the Plaza. Shame on me for expecting any level of competence. This will be the last time they short change me, mess up my order, mess up my night. Check every item before leaving the drive though if you don't This establishment will not only forget items or give you incorrect ones, they also have an attitude when you tell them and may not even fix it, abhorrent behavior for anyone in hospitality, absolutely shamefull. You have one job, with like 8 items on the menu, either train your staff or find another line of work, whoever runs this location should feel like a failure. Thanks for another cheeseless, baconless burger that I payed extra for. Thanks for stealing 4 extra dollars, you guys are truly titans of industry (for anyone not picking up what I'm putting down that was complete sarcasm, the only Thanks I have is knowing I will never eat or order there again and hopefully if you read this you won't either). They don't deserve your business, plenty of other locations that actually care about the work they do, support those people not this lazy group of degenerates. If I could give 0 stars I would, even one start feels like to much credit given the consistent failures of this location. Save yourself the headache, just because it's close won't mean it's fast, and if it is it's probably not fresh, like half the burgers I've had in the past, like eating a hockey puck made of leather. These guys take junk food and turn into into trash food....
