WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!I recently had the displeasure of meeting the Manager Mariana and Associate Ana. The store was dirty and the food wasn't fresh. My husband and I weren't greeted upon entering. Mariana was very rude, impatient, and she seemed unable to hear whenever I and my husband ordered something. I use frequent smoothie spot pretty frequent in the past when my commute ventured this way, this is the first time I visited in a long time. This last visit was so atrocious by the behaviors of the staff that I feel I had to say something. Just to prove that Mariana picks and chooses who she decides to be kind too.... A jewish man walks in about 20 minutes after me. He is greeted warmly and met with a smile by Mariana. She even explained the menu to him. I was flabbergasted!!! Guess what else, her hearing wasn't impaired while speaking to him either! Mariana also spent most of her time on her phone and glaring at us while we were was eating. I asked Mariana for corporate number and she refused to provide it because she knew her behavior was poor. I hate to think our experience was racially motivated but based on how we were treated verses the other man. We will no longer spend money where we and people that look like us are not celebrated. Very disappointed. I would NOT recommend this place. Broad menu, nice vibe/ ambience (hence the 1 star) but, the Manager Carlos is completely incompetent. Not only did I have to repeatedly tell him what I wanted (maybe it was a language barrier) but as soon as I placed my order he said it’ll take 5 mins for my avocado toast and goes to a random couple and gives them my smoothie I ordered. He seemed not very present and after TWENTY mins of waiting I couldn’t take it anymore, I requested a refund and I no longer wanted the avocado toast I was promised in 5 mins. While getting my refund he came out with it and he said I was being disrespectful because I was upset it took so long (ONE little toast took 20 mins!!) they weren’t busy, my order was placed when only one other person was in the restaurant. I told him he’s disrespectful of my time and to get out of my face because I honestly couldn’t believe his audacity to come out and play the victim. No one there could tell me when the owner Javier would be in to express this distasteful experience. With customer service like this, your money is best spent elsewhere! ...

I truly adore this place because it's the perfect spot to refuel after a great workout at LaFitness upstairs. However, my recent visits have been disappointing. It's only 7:30pm on a Tuesday, and yet, they keep saying, "we only have chicken," even though they're open until 10pm. The same goes for their rice options; it's been only white rice lately. The employees seem more focused on closing up early than serving customers, with two young ladies cleaning in the back while a young man handles both the food line and cashier duties. There's a line of customers waiting, and it's frustrating. It's perplexing that they're trying to clean up so early when they have hours left. I hope the owner addresses these issues before the place takes a downturn.

It's also puzzling that they offer a self-checkout option but then have nothing available. This has been my worst experience here so far, and I genuinely hope they can turn things around.
