LAS DELICIAS RESTAURANT & BAKERY — Restaurant in North Miami

We came here as a party of 3 for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. There were only a few other customers. We started by ordering some empanadas. They were excellent! A bit greasy, but really good! They brought a jar of salsa and a tube of a garlic cilantro sauce. For lunch I had the Cazuelas de Miriscos, my son ordered the steak, and his friend ordered the liver. Their food came out first. Unfortunately we waited another 5-10 minutes for my food to come out. They didn’t start eating out of politeness, and also we had no utensils. Even after they brought my food they had not brought any utensils. When our friend started to eat her liver, it was cold. So, for the service I give 3 stars. The utensils should be on the table when people sit down! At the very worst, when their food arrives. But, the food should all arrive at the same time! That’s a big problem for me when the food comes at different times. The food was excellent (for me, because mine was hot). It is excellent Columbian food. Very authentic. But, please do better with the service. Don’t bring plates out at different times and have your silverware on the tables! A gentleman came in AFTER my son and his friend got their food and while I was waiting for my food. He had his food at the same time I got mine. I don’t know why we waited 35-45 minutes for our food and he waited 5-10? I recommend for the food. Not...

Las Delicias de Colombia Bakery is a small and cozy Colombian restaurant that brings back the traditional flavors of our culture in a warm and welcoming setting. The food was truly delicious; full of authentic Colombian taste that made us feel right at home.

However, there were a couple of things that could be improved. The parking lot in the back is limited, so finding a spot can be a bit tricky. Also, the food took quite a while to be served and wasn’t as hot as we expected when it finally arrived.
