Been occasionally going here for nearly a year & seemed to get treated like complete CRAP by two of the employees EVERYTIME! Tonight I have had enough, the dark haired, big girl working the counter, whom is ALWAYS 1 of the 2 RUDE one's was just completely unacceptable! She must be racist because I am white & my boyfriend is black because she is never as horrible to anyone else who walks in after us. Never asked if it was for there or to go & when she starts automatically putting my food on a plate & I ask to get it in a to-go box, I get attitude! Then I wanted the mushroom chicken & there wasn't but a tiny bit in the pan. Asked if there was anymore coming, she said it would be 5 to 7 minutes. Ok.... So I told her I planned on waiting, so she rudely says " Oh that's ALL U want?!" Umm no, just wanted ALL MY FOOD to be put together at the same time, I thought... I tell her I wanted the "Plate" with the Chow Mein & the string bean chicken as well. So she said she would bring the mushroom chicken when ready. Oh ok then.... Get to the register & she doesn't ask if we want any sauce like she asks everyone else & we get no fortune cookies like we should. Oh & obviously I am planning on taking mine with me in my TO-GO BOX because I can't eat all this food in one sitting, so i need a bag & but of course I get MORE ATTITUDE for asking for a bag & sauces, which is for BOTH of us & she gives me 2 soy sauces & 1 teriyaki. Then instead of putting my box in it she just sits the bag on a tray next to my food... Then after a few minutes she brings my mushroom chicken out to the table, by sitting it down & saying "here ya go" like I am such a bother?! Then the chicken just didn't taste right, it was all gummy like it was just fat or something. Had all my zucchini & about 4 tiny mushrooms cut in tiny pieces. I have never had it look or taste that bad. I feel she did it deliberately to me. We just don't get why she acts like this everytime we go?? It seems we ALWAYS get stuck with her for some reason & her alone will make us not go there at all anymore. Not a SINGLE employee, and they're were about 5 or so working tonight, were speaking to each other. It seemed like a lot of tension & a very uncomfortable work environment. Guess so working...
Read moreFirst time eating at this location but we’ve had Panda from all over the southeast. This was, by far, the worst meal we’ve had. Firstly, we ordered online to pickup, as we have at other locations this past year. The website instructions were the same as always, wear a mask to enter and pickup. However, when I went to pick up the doors were locked. I was actually in the process of calling the store when one of the several employees inside waved/gestured at me towards the drive through. Apparently ALL business was do via the drivethru, they just didn’t have signage for that. Stuff happens, maybe they were understaffed, whatever, we got our food promptly after giving our name at the window and went home. This is where it got frustrating. The Wok Seared Steak and Shrimp that three of our party tried for the first time was apparently pretty good, however one plate had only two shrimps, ONE piece of beef mixed within the vegetables. That’s not an entree, that’s basically another side of veggies. The other plates also had a very limited amount of meat compared to servings of comparable entrees at every other Panda Express we’ve eaten at in the past. The Firecracker Chicken wasn’t a lot of chicken, the Kung Pao chicken looked like they were scraping the bottom of the bin, a pile of sauce, peanuts, and little bits of chicken and vegetables. Two stars because the orange chicken turned out pretty well and the shrimps we did get were pretty tasty. Overall, doesnt seem to be a good location...
Read moreThis is an update. Food is never ready and staff are always changing. We visited ladtvweek at 1115am. The doors were locked. We called and the manager Miquel opened the doors. When we got in line, we were told food would not be ready for 3-4 hours. We left and found another place to eat. This place has some major management issues!!! We loved Panda Express when we lived in Houston, so we were excited to see they were coming to Myrtle Beach. Although, we tried it 4 times now, we have been extremely disappointed. Each time they only had 1/4 to 1/2 of their menu options prepared and available. They informed us they were told not to make all the selections so they didn't waste food. We tried one last time today and to our disappointment at 12N, prime lunch time half of the selections were not avsilable. 15 minutes, then 20 minutes... We gave up and left. Horrible service, and unless you have all the time in the world for your lunch, we would not recommend this location. We also tried calling Sylvia, the regional manager to voice a complaint.. but her voicemail was full and you couldn't...
