Simply Greek — Restaurant in North Myrtle Beach

NMB has needed a good Greek restaurant, and now, we finally have it!

I am a picky eater in general, cherish good, quality food – a 'foodie' if you will, grew up working in a friend's Family owned Greek restaurant, and now to add to the pickiness, I am pregnant! One of my pregnancy cravings is Lamb! An authentic lamb gyro, to be precise. Simply Greek did not disappoint!

My husband ordered the classic gyro with lemon potatoes, and I ordered the same but asked for no veggies and extra meat. The up charge for extra meat was minimal ($3), and the staff was more than happy to oblige my unique requests. The woman who took our order was so kind, happily chatted with us while we waited, and congratulated us on our 1st pregnancy.

We ordered to go and dug right in once we arrived home – I almost forgot to take a picture of mine, and my husband's was gone by the time I remembered. 😅 If that doesn't tell you how good it was, I'm not sure what will! 🤌

After finishing our meal, I felt urged to call them back to tell them, "Thank you," personally, and let them know how good their food and service was, which is something I NEVER do!

Every bite was a perfect balance of unforgettable flavors, and top quality ingredients. The tzatziki sauce is creamy and tangy, drizzled over the chicken gyro like a piece of art with feta cheese. I have been hoping someone would open a Greek restaurant close-by, and this exceeded all of my hopes! The food is absolutely perfect, and I'm 36 years old and I've literally never seen better customer service. This place is a gem, and I am going to be spreading the word as often and loud as possible, because I want it to be as successful as it deserves to be.

If I could give ten times the stars, I would! It's seriously off the charts. Both my husband and I were blown away!

Edit: Second visit and a young girl took our order. We waited a while, as they were busy and got to see her interact with customers. I am so impressed at her patience. Being in an area with an older population, rude customers are common, and she stayed cheery and sweet and handled it all perfectly.
