Update: July 22, 2025
My wife and I went back for dinner and tried menu items #45 and #46 again. This time, we kept things a bit more budget-friendly—we shared a salad and fries, and stuck with water.
Both the salad and fries came out in noticeably larger portions this round. My wife mentioned #46 could use just a bit more crunch, but overall, still a solid meal.
The food was tasty, and the service was top-notch! Our waitress was friendly, knowledgeable, and knew the menu and daily specials inside and out — you could tell she actually cared. Our check was $36 $10 tip.

My wife and I both ordered gyros — numbers 45 and 46 on the menu — and they were both absolutely delicious. The Greek dressing was especially flavorful. Only suggestion? We felt the salads could’ve used just a bit more in the toppings department and been slightly larger for the price.
One heads-up: my wife asked for extra gyro sauce (which we didn’t see listed with a price), and we were surprised to see a $3.25 upcharge on the bill for just a small side of it. It was not a dealbreaker, but it would've been nice to know in advance.
Overall, great experience — we’ll definitely be back. Just tweaking our order next time to keep it flavorful and...
Read moreWe wanted a good tasting GYRO and having resided 32 years in North Myrtle Beach SC, we decided to try a new GREEK RESTAURANT. So we went to ZESTY AUTHENTIC GREEK CUISINE located at 730 HWY 17 South, North Myrtle Beach SC and we were amazed at how clean and neat everything was in place. We both ordered a GYRO PREMIUM BEEF & LAMB with TZATZIKI SAUCE, TOMATO ONION AND LETTUCE on 'FRESH and great tasting PITA BREAD. We ate all of it and then we both had BAKLAVA which was exquisite in taste and flavor and made like no other BAKLAVA we had ever tasted and we devoured every piece of it.... WOW WE CANNOT SAY ENOUGH about this great ZESTY GREEK restaurant .... but one thing for sure we are going to eat more greek food then...
Read moreHey there! We recently came with our family and were excited to try your place, but the menu felt a bit limited. The food was just okay—though the lamb was a little too greasy for our taste. We were surprised (and a bit embarrassed!) to be charged $18 for a single, tiny 4‑inch octopus tentacle Costco sells a whole octopus for less than that!
It felt like you weren’t afraid to charge us, but maybe a bit hesitant when it came to giving us a normal portion. We might swing by again sometime. Just curious to see if you’ve nailed that “whole restaurant” thing yet.
Three people, three gyros, an appetizer that hardly felt like one and the total came to $111. We also grabbed two Cokes...
