Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in North Myrtle Beach

So usually this place is flawless, but today was an absolute mess. I walked in and saw three employees working, one was making a sandwich and the other was on the register,& the third was washing dishes? I’m not really sure what she was doing. no one was making smoothies at all. It was very busy in the store as well. The girl at the register then took my order and four more after that. Then after everyone in line had their orders taken, the girl at the register proceeds to go into the back for a few minutes and come back to make the smoothies. It took over 20 minutes to get one smoothie which isn’t like this place at all. What got me the most upset was one of the guests that was behind me, got his food and his smoothie before me. He waited maybe five minutes. I’m come to this place very often and I’m always happy and satisfied with the quality and friendliness of the store. But today was not okay at all. They need to make sure they prioritize guests over dishes. I gave three stars only because my smoothie was great, and any other time this store...

My coworkers and I put in an online order. I requested a protein be added to my smoothie, when my coworker arrived back with the order, I noticed on the side of my cup had the incorrect protein. This protein can make me sick. I tried several times, over 8 times! to call with no answer. I even called the Myrtle Beach location to verify I had the right number and I did. I drove back to TSC and stood at the counter for at least 2 minutes waiting to be acknowledged. When I finally was, I wasn't greeted, she just asked me what she could do for me. I said the smoothie had been made incorrectly and asked for it to be remade. She turned to her coworker and told her to remake it, I waited after 4 other smoothies to be made, almost 10 more minutes before I was given the correct smoothie. I never got an apology, the employees never smiled at anyone (you can still tell if someone is smiling or not). The employees seemed like they would rather be anywhere but there. I found the atmosphere to be tense and uncomfortable. I will not be using this...

I love Tropical Smoothie Cafe and I don't like to be that negative nancy person but the last 2×s I went was not pleasant. The staff at the NMB location are very rude. I was standing there at the register waiting... 3 workers just looked at me like I had 3 heads. One girl came up after a while and asked what I wanted to order... I told her the smoothie I wanted and then without another word she just walks away... went to the back... I was so confused... she didn't say a word... I even had to reach over for my own receipt. Very awkward. The last time I went I took my kids and ordered 3 smoothies. They were filling orders of customers that came in behind me.. not talking about online orders but actual people who ordered like I did at the register. I would also like to point out that both visits were within the past week... so not digging up old dirt ....
