DiMola's Pizza — Restaurant in North Plainfield

The other day I got, DiMola’s Pizza, for lunch. Absolutely loved their Pizza! I had ordered their Pepperoni, Buffalo Chicken, & Chicken Parmigiana slices. I also got a side of marinara sauce for the crust. I honestly was surprised by how good the pizza was. Their pepperoni slice was delicious. Loved the pep slice! The Chicken Parmigiana slice was also amazing, not many places get the sauce right. But they make a great sauce. I always get a side of marinara for the crust, and you can typically tell how good the pizza will be, if you take a sip of the marinara sauce first. DiMola’s, makes an excellent marinara. The only issue I had was with the Buffalo Chicken slice. The chicken had great flavor, but the buffalo chicken slice as a whole, had an overwhelming flavor of olives. I have just recently gained an appreciation for olives, but was not expecting the only dominating flavor, other than a hint of Buffalo sauce, to be that of green olives. All in all, their pizza is pretty dang good. The staff were fantastic and extremely welcoming. Go somewhere else. Uses the terrible 3rd party service Slice and will pass all the frustration and high costs of doing so onto the customer. DiMola's will not help the customer and will actually yell at customers for not following directions on how to order from their store. Go figure.

A sad little shop trying to remain afloat during the pandemic by dipping its greasy little fingers into the customers' pockets at every turn. There's no unique menu item and they're just a pizza place in Jersey- find another one, this one is not worth it. Overpriced for junky food.

Unsolicited advice: just learn how to cook Italian yourself, it's easy to start and the complicated stuff is done better at many other restaurants. There's no shortage of Italian...

Two orders of wings equalled about 10 wings for $20; they were typical breaded wings. Little value there.

There was a sandwich was missing from my delivery. When I called, they said it was in the box (but it wasn’t). They were short and offered no solution other than to call DoorDash, leaving me with two meals half of what was expected and one entirely missing. I suppose because they use DoorDash, they feel like they can detach themselves from their customers.

Pizza night from this restaurant caused me to cook anyway. Out of principle, I can’t order from here again. 2 stars for the...
