This store has been getting worse and worse. This time when we went to pick up our order they only had one tray of salsa on the sauce bar. I asked nicely why they didn’t have anything else and they informed me their blender was broken. They weren’t going to tell us that the bowl my wife ordered did not have the crème de Palomo that was supposed to be on it and they didn’t have the salsa verde for her chips due to the blender being broken. They were just gonna send us with our food like nothing was wrong had I not asked about the sauce bar being nearly empty. So since they didn’t have anything that comes from a blender I asked if they could cut up some limes since there were none on the almost empty sauce bar. They said they didn’t have any limes and the truck comes on Monday. This is the fifth time I’ve been in and they say they didn’t have limes. At that point, I was ready to go somewhere else so we asked about a refund. They said they couldn’t do a refund because it was a Mobile order we would have to do it on the mobile app. My wife got on the mobile app and the mobile app said to contact the store you ordered your food from. So again we asked for a refund they said they could not do a refund. I was irritated and had to head towards the car before I blew up so on my way out the door I said loudly to my wife just call the credit card company and report it as fraud!! I guess that was the magic phrase because the employee said let me go in the back and get the computer. I can do a refund. So unless you want crappy food and issues with the staff, I would suggest going to any other fast food...
Read moreThis Moe's has really gone down hill lately. The last 3...4? visits have been terrible. Ive ordered on door dash and they get the order wrong every time, like their late shift people are incompetent. So today I went in person. I got a burrito and a bowl that I generally put queso on. Nope. Out of Queso. This was a pretty big deal for me as the Queso makes the meal. I let it slide. Alright, throw some sour cream on them. Nope. Out of sour cream. Really?? Fine. Wrap those up. I also need a Wrong Doug...I mean a Stack. They throw down the tortilla, cheese, and then instead of the flat round taco shells they usually use they crunched up tortilla chips... You're kidding right?? No? Ok... moving on. Last thing I need is a bowl with half chicken and half tofu. Oh... You're out of tofu? Should've figured at this point. Needless to say, not a single item was as we wanted it. And this was at like 6:45 pm on a Friday night. 2 people working. It's it a staffing issue? I don't know, but I'll be driving to the port charlotte Moe's for all future meals. Had to stop at Chipotle on the way home to get Queso, and theirs is terrible...
Read moreI just left this location, and I'm waiting for corporate to contact me. Unfortunately this was only my second visit to this location and I will probably never go back. I never have any issues with the Port Charlotte location and they have always been on point. You don't need to hear all my boring details but long story short there was only one order and front of me in line which consisted of three items total. I just waited 24 minutes from the second I got in line to when I was paying. Restaurant was not clean, we are awaiting on chicken for an extended amount of time. Also at the food station none of the counters were being wiped down between orders so there was dirty counters getting wrappers and bowls dirty. Then at the end of my order they put my burrito in the bag directly on top of my chips, if you have eaten at Moe's before you will understand how large their burritos are and I have no idea where they would put it directly on top of chips only to crush all of them. It was just a pretty frustrating visit overall, I'm submitting a complaint to corporate. And I'm waiting to hear back....
