Not one of my go to places, just a random stop because Arby's had a line and no speaker box. Got a cheeseburger, strawberry shake, ff, tarter tots and mozzarella sticks. All was well while i waited for my food and talking on bluetooth, car hop came out handed me what i thought was my shake and took my card. Looked at cup and it was just ice. Figured she just brought it out for my dogs. When she brought my card back, i said i asked for a shake but thank you for the ice. She looked lost as we just stared at each other. Other car hop comes out with my food and asks first car hop what's going on to which first car hop got defensive and 2nd car hop stood there and stared with me. Mind you i still have bluetooth on. My dogs are eating the ice and car hop one asks me for ice back i said umm no my dogs just ate out of it and i get an eye roll and now Im upset but still wondering about whos ice this is. Car hops trying to fix issue as i have no clue whos stuff i just bought, bluetooth friend is laughing, dogs eating ice, car hop one storms off, car hop 2 apologizes for the error, I'm now laughing and all of the sudden i hear someone yelling "hello, hello that's my ice!" Car hop 2 and i look back and here is this lady hanging out her car shaking her head and laughing. Car hop 2 runs back tells that lady how sorry she is, runs back to my car, hands me ice lady's payment and just shakes her head.. lmao. All this for ice.. I would have given 5 stars had car hop 1 not stormed off or said sorry. Glasses, thick build, dark hair and attitude for days. Got 4 stars for car hop 2 and her service and her willingness to help, 4 foot 9 to 5 foot 1, thick build, lighter dark hair and a very strong accent. Did the best she could but forgot the marinara sauce but its ok my dogs got ice lol... attitude over ice and then got upset because she had to walk ALL OF 4 STEPS for more ice, and it wasn't busy. Read moreI was going to place a mobile order around 10:30pm especially for the 50% Poboy sandwich deal they have on their app. Knowing that their Mobile Ordering is available until 11pm and that this location closes at 12pm (based on the Sonic app AND Google Maps hours for this location), I almost completed the mobile order at 11pm right at one of their stalls parked. The app was glitching and was not able to do mobile order. Despite the unsuccessful, I pressed the red button attempt to order at around 11pm when the whole restaurant has their lights on, the girl told me that they are closed. I then drove around and see other cars parked at the other stalls placing order and see that there are employees inside taking orders! I then decided to try the drive thru, and again the girl who answered the red button call to order told me the same thing. This time I have told her that BOTH the Sonic App AND Google Map says that this location closes at 12am, not 11pm, only for her to ignore the facts. At that point, I no longer want to order at this Sonic. As I drove off, I see a car in front of me waiting for the order they just placed. It is very obvious that the workers pick and choose who to take orders and serve during their business hour.
'While I have enjoyed the in app deals from Sonic and their food before, a good restaurant should not hire rude people. It is very unprofessional that a company would hire such rude and unprofessional people to operate the stores/restaurants. As much as I want to continue enjoying food at Sonic locations, it is unacceptable for the company to hire such horrible workers AND allowing their workers to act unprofessionally at job- any job. The app and google map always report the correct hours of operation, and the workers are expected to know that instead of picking and choosing who they are going to serve during their business hour. Unfortunately loyal customer comes from good customer services, and this place lacks all parts of it. Read moreI have really tried giving this place a chance multiple times. I try to tell myself that maybe I just came on a bad day or that they’re just busy. I have worked in the service industry before and understand what it’s like to be shortstaffed and training new people. But today was just crazy. I believe the person taking my order may have been New however I had to repeat myself multiple times trying to be as patient and polite as possible. however, completely appalled by the fact that they must’ve forgot they were wearing a headset and said “something I couldn’t quite understand and then DAMN” pretty rudely over the intercom. I am now dealing with my 2yo and 5yo repeating that because they thought it was funny. When they came out to bring me my food the lady was somewhat rude as she handed me the food said she has your drinks and walked off. I assume the trainee handed me the drinks and then walked off without saying anything. Didn’t ask if I needed anything or even have a good day. My food was old as if it had been sitting out for a while and heated up in a microwave. I asked for a Coke with sweet cream and got a Coke with cherry, which I am allergic to luckily not severe. I liked this location because it was convenient. And some times I do get a worker that is nice and has great customer service. But majority of the time it’s someone with a bad attitude that can’t wait to get out of there or struggling to hear through the drive-through speaker box.
