If I could leave less than one star I would. I have been coming to this place for the past 3 years for the last three 4th of July holidays. Each year it has been nothing but a good vibes. Except this year they decided to hire nothing but nasty and disrespectful handful of individuals starting with the DJ playing on 74/22 and the pool badge attendee. My family and I were first to enter this pool on July 4th at 11:30AM and stayed pretty much all day long paying tab after tab of alcohol, food etc. all to be ruined by an unprofessional and profiling DJ. After 3 hours of requesting a Spanish song my sister in law was denied on multiple occasions the song. I know a song does not mean much but to have the DJ stop mid song to single us out and scream “ARE YOU DONE?” In the crowd was completely unnecessary and only proved the point that he simply had something against us in general. I am completely disgusted and appalled at the fact that he couldn’t be man enough to politely say sorry and squash the whole thing. My sister in law was left hysterical crying and feeling extremely disrespected at his disgusting behavior. And to top it off the badge attendee decided to curse us out with us walking away.    Read moreWalking in From across the street, this restaurant looked very nice. It was cold outside because of the breeze. But it was Freezing Inside. So we sat outside. Across the street was a super loud restaurant with a band. We couldn’t even hear each other talking. To make matters worse, that band was painful to listen to. My ears hurt when we left. The prices were average. The server was good and checked on us a lot. The food was pretty awful. We started with bloody Mary’s and they were average st best. Tasted like they poured it out of a bottle premixed. It was only $6 but in a very small glass and of course it was 95% ice. So we’re at the shore where you’d think seafood would be plentiful. We ordered the calamari. It was definitely a frozen, out of a box brand. Probably generic. It was not worth $12.and just NOT good. I had a Crab quesadilla that had mozzarella, spinach, and green onions. I couldn’t find, much less taste, Any crab. It was full of spinach and mozzarella which didn’t seem real (I’m Italian. I know mozzarella cheese). No taste of green onions either, which may have given this very bland dish a little flavor. A BBQ burger was also ordered at our table, but had no Bbq sauce on it.    Read moreLast Thursday night 8/30, my girlfriend, her cousin and my 84 y/o father were enjoying drinks and dinner. Around 9pm my father decided it was time to call it a night and wanted to go to his condo on the 1st floor. We walked to the back door towards the elevator but was stopped by BIG MR. TOUGHGUY who told us no one can use the door (which happens to be right off the lobby) and that we would have to walk around the outside of the building and re-enter from the street. Curiously, no manager was around to discuss our issue. Equally rude and oblivious was the girl at the front door who was collecting the $5 cover-charge who didn't even bother to acknowledge me, when I asked if my girlfriend would have a problem coming back into the restaurant as she had to handle a family related issue across the street. After dropping $350 at your establishment I would have liked to have been shown a little more respect. The only positive experience was my interaction with the blond barmaid who was very attentive and had a very engaging personality. Unfortunately I don't remember her name, but the other two staff members i mentioned should take notes on improving their customer service skills.
