North Shore Bar and Kitchen — Restaurant in North Wildwood

It was about average. The food was good, but not spectacular. The service was good, but not spectacular. It was our server's first day, she hustled, owned up when she made a mistake and tried very hard to compensate for the slow kitchen. The food was hot, but very slow and the meals came out one or two at a time (not all together).

They did have a good selection of adult beverages and the few we ordered were good.

All in all it was average bar fare at vacation prices. With fun drinks, lots on tap, good location and their upscale menu it could be another gold mine.

Some focus and refinement on the food side: efficiency, timing and finishing the dish could go a long way.

We won't be back this week, but I'd love nothing more than come back next year and have another fantastic place to...

Went last night to see the MMA fight. That had a band play which was.good bit was very hard to watch the fight with the band playing with no sound for the main event. They had another room so I don't know why they didn't have the fight playing in that room. Anyway order some soup it was so salty that I had to return it to the kitchen and order a different kind of soup which was not salty but really through together. It was supposed to be onion soup, but it was broth with a couple.of hunks of hoagie bread with cheese barely melted on top. Anyway I would not be returning here to eat. Was here Saturday night to see the band. I ordered two shots and was surprised that it looked like an under pour in the plastic shot glass. Not sure if it had something to do with the glass, we did the shots and since my mouth has done its fair share of shots it knows what the volume of a shot is. This was definitely an under pour. Thinking it might have been the bartender I ordered the next round from a different bartender with the same result. So it's apparently a company policy to under pour.
