Big Apple Bagels — Restaurant in Northfield Township

I have owned a business in the area for over 5 years and never walked in until maybe 6 months ago. I have discovered that the staff is always so nice and friendly that it is always a pleasure to walk in. They greet you like you are an old friend. Their lox is also surprisingly excellent! Today for the first time ever they forgot to put it on my sandwich. I called and they apologized and said breakfast is on them one day next week. I love this place and was a regular customer. The proprietors are very nice people and run an efficient business. However, they refuse to enforce the mask mandate. Twice now I have witnessed maskless people come in and no one says a word to them and they are still served. They say that people ignore their signs and threaten to take their business elsewhere if they have to wear a mask according to one of the proprietors. I have been coming up to Northbrook for a year building a home. I don't know what I would do without big Apple bagels. The owner and his wife are some of the nicest people I have ever met. I walk in they know exactly what I want and it's always fresh plus they always give you a little muffin on the side.
