Bamboo Coffee & Donuts — Restaurant in Northfield

This place is my new favorite coffee shop (I wish I lived closer!) The baristas were super knowledgable about their menu, and were able help guide me to a drink I would enjoy, even offering me a small sample of their cold brew to make sure I knew I would like the flavor. I especially appreciate that they took thier time to explain their drinks to me and answer my questions since I'm a casual coffee drinker and usually just blindly order a mocha at most coffee shops. I have never had coffee that tasted like this before but it was delicious! Staff was so friendly and were clearly making sure that every customer was well cared for and left with something they enjoyed. The baked goods and pastries were incredible too and the baristas were happy to recommend ideal pairings between pastries and drinks for the best experience. They have plenty of delicious gluten free options too. I stumbled upon this place with some friends one our way to go thrifting at the goodwill next door, so if that's your agenda too, I definitely recommend this place as the perfect stop along the way. Our first time at Bamboo was an amazing experience. I ordered the Vietnamese coffee and we also orderd 1/2 doughnuts. The service and hospitality were over the top. The coffee was delicious and their doughnuts were equally amazing. My favorites were the Red Velvet, Churro and Strawberries and Cream. My fiancee loved the latte and rose doughnut. The owner gave me a free sample of the Mahola cold brew and this coconut oil infused coffee made it a must return. We went back today and got the Cold brew and it did not disappoint. Atmosphere is very comforting along with the service, the coffee came out quick along with the donuts. I picked a half dozen with a wide variety of donuts from s’mores to a Belgian waffle. The donuts were crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside without it being a lot of air, for me it was the perfect donut. The coffee is great, it’s not over sweetened like a lot of coffee is here and is rich in flavor, I enjoyed the Bee Knees coffee and my wife enjoyed the Ube latte.
