I’m very upset, and spent the day crying. I have a birthday party planned for my three year old tomorrow and we decided to go with Jimmy John’s. We ordered 4 orders of the 30 half sandwiches. We placed the order a week in advance and in the meantime a lot of party attendees cancelled so we called the store to see if we could take an order of the 30 sandwiches off the order. The manager was rude to begin with. She said I’ll have to see what I can do. She put me on hold forever, then came back and said “the only way to modify was to cancel the whole order so I cancelled the whole order.” She cancelled the whole order, instead of ASKING if that was okay. She should have asked if I wanted to cancel or leave the order because I would have left the order as is being that we already paid. I said “maam you should have asked.” And she proceeded to say “well it’s too late, what’s done is done.” I said is there anything you can do? She said nope. I said “you just should have confirmed with me before canceling.” And she said “oh okay you want to tell me how to do my job?!” And she just kept on being rude, and so I asked for the number to corporate and she said “I don’t have it.” And I said “can you please get it for me?” And then she said “You’re just as capable of using google as I am.” I ended up yelling at her and then hanging up. I ended up spending the rest of the day crying because of her lack of people skills and empathy. I will not be going back her. Read morePlaced a decently large order for our office. Received sandwiches completely wrong, items had veggies that were requested to not be on there and none of the freebie add ons were on the sandwiches. Called the store simply to let them know and ideally have them partially refund since all the sandwiches were wrong. Or remake the sandwiches…. Employee asked why course of action I would like, I told them a partial refund back to the card ordered on. Employee went to speak with manager without putting me on hold so I heard their whole conversation, SUPER UNPROFFESSIONAL. I advised one of the sandwiches had been eaten even though it was wrong and could provide the other sandwiches to the delivery guy to take back, the employee told his manager I wasn’t willing to give the sandwiches back which was not accurate. Long story short we were offered a partial credit to the phone number ordered on, and that to use it we would have to call in to place an order. We use the online system to place orders not call in as multiple people order on one order number cos passing a phone around the office to get orders. Read moreBe aware of Cody! I ordered delivery second time this week and didn’t get what I paid for. I ordered avocado spread and provolone cheese and they weren’t on there. I called and talked to Cody, he said he definitely remembers putting it on there so I’ll have to take it up with corporate. I told him I’d go take him the sandwich so he can see and asked for his name and he hung up on me. I took video and pictures. I called back again no answer. I called again and he picked up and said because I got a sandwich from delivery with everything on there but the avocado spread he can just give me a side. I didn’t realize it didn’t even have the cheese on it until later. My husband took the sandwich in and a younger kid apologized made me a new one and offered chips and a dessert. I didn’t eat it in fear of something being done to it. My husband said Cody got mad at the younger guy for remaking it, took him to the back and cursed at him, then told him to get the f out of building. From my previous experience this week I think they’re so hard up for avocado that they’re putting a pinch of it on the sandwich/paper so that they can say they put it on there and still charge you for it.
