Giacomo's Deli — Restaurant in Norwalk

I wish I could give this place a better rating, but after multiple attempts to give them another chance, this place is just disappointing.

I occasionally grabbed a sausage/egg/cheese breakfast sandwich, and usually they're fine. I went in last week and they failed to mention they were out of the normal breakfast sausage patties. What I got was a bunch of small sausages that they cut in half in tried shoving into the Kaiser roll, it was disgusting.

Went back for lunch later in week and ordered buffalo chicken wrap, which was hugely disappointing. The wrap must have been old, since after they toast the wrap it it was literally falling apart from flaking...just picking it up and huge pieces of wrap would fall off. I abandoned trying to eat the wrap part and just opened it up, only to learn there was hardly any blue...

Ordered delivery the other day and got a selection of sandwiches along with a side order of chicken tenders.

Everything was well packed and arrived hot which was nice.

The chicken parmesan sandwich was filling and the chicken cutlets were perfectly fried. The ratio to cheese, chicken, and sauce was perfect. It didnt have an issue with the meat falling out of the sandwich which is always a plus for a chicken parmesan sandwich.

The Cugino was a hell of a sandwich. Barbeque beef, melted cheddar cheese, grilled onions, and pickles. All the elements worked brilliantly together, definitely a must try.

Overall a great experience and I will be ordering...

This is a fairly new deli located directly across the street from the office buildings along Rte 7 in Norwalk, CT. There is usually plenty of parking and it is easy to find. The staff is friendly and helpful, the food is good to excellent and they have a wide assortment of drinks available. There are tables to sit at or take it to go. It's a great place to grab a sandwich with a casual atmosphere. You can eat whatever they are cooking hot that day or a wide variety of other menu items. One of the staff that makes sandwiches told me the other day that "I make all of the sandwiches like I am going to eat it". What more could...
