I decided to try Guac Time on Connecticut Ave in Norwalk, CT, and I will never return. I rarely order out or eat at restaurants these days due to poor customer service, which I experienced today, as well as the lack of care in food preparation. I ordered a bowl, and during checkout, the card scanner wouldn't accept my card, which was frustrating. However, since I have experience in IT, I understand that these issues can happen. After the scanner finally captured my card information, the woman serving me left without asking if I wanted a receipt or displaying any hospitality by saying have a good day or thanking me for my business—nothing. I was left standing there until she turned around and said, "You are all set." I replied, "No, I would like a receipt." With a hint of hostility, she responded, "Oh, you want a receipt?" She printed it, and I thanked her and wished her a good day, but she did not respond. When I got back to my desk and started eating the food (which was lukewarm), I bit into something that nearly broke my tooth—it was hard plastic! Now that I'm back in Stamford, I have no intention of returning to Norwalk. This experience reinforces why I prefer not to order out or dine at restaurants; I much prefer to prepare my own meals at home. Moving forward, I will continue to find recipes on YouTube to cook for myself!

I’ve been waiting patiently for this restaurant to open and I can honestly say it was more than worth the wait. The owners and or employees were so I genuinely kind. They offer a wide array of fresh options, that combine to make an authentic, deliciously satisfying meal. On the way out I stopped to say thank you and let them know how much I enjoyed my dinner and they had such gratitude for the compliment. I’m not sure I’ll ever feel the need to walk into Chipotle again. This restaurant is a great addition to the town. Nothing about the food here tasted fast, it’s served efficiently and quickly, but this is not fast food. So much more.

This new Mexican restaurant in town offers a warm and inviting atmosphere with friendly staff. I thoroughly enjoyed their delicious tacos and the excellent chicken bowl. The mango salsa added a delightful touch. The fact that they use halal chicken is a definite plus. The only downside was the slightly limited portion of chicken. Overall, it's a must-visit for a flavorful Mexican dining experience.

Walking in it is a very clean and well put together place. The employees didn't greet us when we walked in, but they started to take our order right away. We were a group of 3, my first friend got the nachos. She didn't want meat and asked for veggies and they put about 6 peppers and onions on her nachos. When the employee asked what meat she said none, and then the employee gave her more veggies. My second friend asked for Birria quesadillas, since it's advertised that they have birria. I'm not sure if they didn't understand her or if they don't have birria, but they gave her barbacoa instead. When the employee was putting her meat on, she was plucking THE SMALLEST amount of meat AND THEN TRIED SEPERATING the pieces that were clumped together!!! So naturally my friend asked for more meat and the employee said "ohh extra protein" so I replied "no there wasn't enough the first time". They did not charge her for the extra protein at check out. By the time it was my turn to order, I got the gist of how stingy they are with ingredients, so I just asked for a veggie bowl. I had to ask a few times for them to give a bit more salsa, lettuce, and Cilantro. They also upcharge by 4% if you pay card. Overall, I would give it a try again to see if service improves! Food was hot and delicious and...

Ordered 2 bowls through uber eats - got a funky smell from the bowls on the first day. Next day when I took them out of the refrigerator there was a very clear rotten smell coming from both bowls. The smell was so strong that even after I threw them in the garbage can my whole house started to reek.

I contacted them less than 48 hours and they refused to help. It was actually much worse than that. The first employee, her name started with an A - told me to call back in 30 min. When I called back in 30 min, they told me she wasn’t there her shift had ended.

Finally when I spoke with the manager he was apologetic at first but refused to help me. When I told him I’m trying to reach out to you first instead of posting a review, because I know mistakes happen and as a business owner myself I’d want another change to make it right, he had a super rude attitude and said “are you trying to blackmail us??”.

If they care so little about trying to fix the problem - this should show you how little they likely care about food hygiene. I will also pass on my feedback to the city of norwalk...
