We went to dine in, and we decided to sit near the window as it was the cleanest area compared to the other seats (it was dirty or occupied everywhere else). Because we chose to dine in we had our food delivered to our table, in which we had no idea we were sitting in the area that was “closed off” (For context it wasn’t blocked off in an obvious manner. The chairs were moved around in a weird manner, from where we entered which to us looked like a table had moved them to sit more people. moreover there was a gentleman that was sitting in the same area, as well as a group of teenagers nearby). after we began to eat this lady came and rudely spoke to us in Spanish telling us to get up and then in a rude tone told us if we hadn’t see the chairs and if we jumped over them to get to this area, even though there were other customer sitting around this area that she had “blocked off” but we didn’t know (since again it was open). After we were interrupted from our meal we got up and switched to another table to which was still in the same area even though she told us it was fine. she then gave us the most stinkiest side eye ever as if we did something. after that she continued to clean around us which first is unprofessional when you’re supposed to be providing customer service and not giving us an attitude. as she was doing that she made her way to the teenagers table to which ignore them sitting at the wrong area as well and told them it was OK where they were sitting. (Mind you they were an America crowd not Latino) to our surprise. In which we question, what was the reason of giving us attitude if you didn’t get the same energy to the other table. To conclude this review that lady is rude and she should have the respect to treat costumers the same, not just treat them rudely because we’re Hispanic/Latino and could understand her properly Otherwise the food was great!
Edit: Instead of talking to us privately, she brought the attention to us in front of everyone who was dining in. Again, unprofessional as she should’ve came to us privately...
Read moreI stopped at McDonald's at 5:30am on August 4th,2018 because my husband was in a car accident and we just left the emergency room in Greenwich. I tried to pull up to order, but there was a McDonald's delivery truck there so I couldn't order. Whenever this happened in the past,I would pull up to the window and order there. I pulled up to the window and there were 2 McDonald's employees who just basically stared at me and didn't come over to take my order or even acknowledge that I was waiting to order. There was another customer behind me waiting to order also. After waiting for 10 minutes even though they knew I was there and made eye contact with me several times,I decided to go inside to order. After I ordered I mentioned to one of the employees that it was very rude to just stare at me and not acknowledging me.She looked at me in smug way and said she's not taking orders and then she laughed and walked away. She came back 1 minute later and took my order. I think that's terrible customer service and should be rectified. Without your customers;then where would McDonald's be. And not only that, but the poor customer behind me was still waiting at the window being ignored after I left.absolutely ridiculous and...
Read moreClean spot on Connecticut 1, the Golden Arches directing me where to go for a quick bite of fast food. This Mickey D's is not so fast on service, though. The drive thru was packed so I parked (lots of spaces) and went inside. Although there are options for ordering through my phone (don't want to add more to my phone's memory) and through a large touchscreen inside the restaurant I just wanted to order from a human being. I waited about 5-10 minutes with no one coming up to the register. No one spoke English (I don't speak Spanish) so finally I caved in and ordered from the interactive menu. Still waited about 10 minutes for my food which was overpriced and cold. As I was leaving a manager came over to inquire if everything was okay. I just wanted to get home and eat so I said yes. He was trying to do a good job but the overall experience was tedious, inconvenient, overpriced and no longer yummy. What happened, McDonald's?What's up with the mustard on the burgers? We're not in Europe. And the fries... shriveled up dry twigs. It's Burger King...
