We normally have a very good experience here. However on our last visit, we were served by a different cashier who was rude when they messed up our order.
My husband ordered a triple bacon burger, plain. They did not make it plain the first time and she did not seem to understand what plain ment. We told her meat and bun only and she responded "so no bacon?" Which is a meat.
Upon clarifying again they gave us a new burger but it was missing a patty. She was annoyed seeing us return with the second incorrect burger. She asked if we wanted an extra patty and we told her we just wanted the burger we paid for as we paid for an extra patty. She reluctantly took it and gave us another burger. It was correct on the third try.
It was more her attitude than the incorrect food. Mistakes happen. As someone who has worked in food service for over ten years, it's the employees job to make it right with a good attitude instead of sighing and rolling your eyes. I have been on the other side of the counter for a decade and know how it is and how to handle such a situation. We were polite and respectful about the mistake and expected to be treated with the same attitude back.
Again we normally have a good experience here. It was just this one time. The young girl who usually is at the counter when we pick up food is stellar.
Update: they screwed up my potato, y'all. First time my potato has been wrong ever in my entire life eating Wendy's. It was the one item I forgot to check. Asked for a cheddar potato add chives. I go through this drive-through 3-6 times a month because it's by my house and EVERY time they fail to give me a plain double stack with no cheese, only ketchup. This time I slowed down and was extremely clear and confirmed verbally it was correct (more than usual) I drive away and there is cheese on it. Normally I go back through the 10-15 minute slow fast food line and collect my burger as ordered, with no cheese, only ketchup with out complaining. This time I asked to speak with a manager (for training mostly because I was so clear but second because I wanted something for my inconvenience this time after dozens of double trips through the drive through). The first two people were nice and finally the manager came and he was argumentative, questioned if it was his Wendy's (at the end of my neighborhood road) AND said I didn't go through the line twice tonight on my second trip through. At one point he started to close the window on me and finally said come back tomorrow and talk to the general manager...needless to say, unfortunately I have to come back and wait in the line again to get some resolve and hopefully get the message through that there is a serious training and customer service issue here. Maybe of they stop paying the next day they will get better quality employees. Thank God they are not being paid $15...

Let me first start off by saying I have managed and trained for quick service restaurants with 10 years of experience I know what it takes to run a store, drive thru and give food service! I spent $20 here and often visit this location because it’s close to home. When I arrived and placed my order I modified one sandwich for someone else I was ordering for a someone on the headset cutting off the actual order taker kept screaming through “Oops too late “ as I kept ordered I had requested multiple sauces and a certain number being part of the order was going to someone else. I get to the window and when they handed me my food without saying anything to me which is rude to begin with, I realized they didn’t put in all the sauces I asked for. I had to get their attention to request more and they rolled their eyes at me and acted like it was such a bother. I asked for more because again they didn’t give me the amount I requested and the boy handing me my food had the audacity to say “you only got 4 nuggets” I don’t care what I got I spent $20 at your location and this is just complete uncalled for behavior by all of the staff there on 5/39/22.
