I recently had the misfortune of encountering the worst customer service I have ever experienced. From start to finish, the entire ordeal was an absolute nightmare. I would strongly advise anyone considering doing business with this company to think twice. Here's why:
Lack of Communication: Trying to get a hold of their customer service representatives was an exercise in futility. Emails went unanswered, and phone calls were met with long wait times and disinterested employees. It seemed like they couldn't care less about resolving my issue or addressing my concerns. Unhelpful and Rude Staff: When I finally managed to speak to a representative, their attitude was downright appalling. They were dismissive, unprofessional, and seemed to have no knowledge of their own products or services. Their lack of empathy and unwillingness to assist left me feeling frustrated and unheard. Broken Promises: Throughout the entire process, I was given numerous promises that turned out to be empty words. They would assure me that my problem would be resolved promptly, only to have weeks go by without any progress. It became clear that they had no intention of fulfilling their commitments. Inefficient Problem Resolution: When I finally managed to escalate my issue to a supervisor, I expected a higher level of competence and accountability. Unfortunately, this was not the case. The supervisor was equally unhelpful, and their proposed solutions were ineffective and impractical. It was evident that they lacked the necessary skills to handle customer concerns. Lack of Ownership: The most frustrating part of this entire experience was the company's refusal to take responsibility for their mistakes. They consistently shifted blame onto external factors or other departments within their organization. Instead of working towards a resolution, they chose to pass the buck and avoid accountability. Wasted Time and Money: Dealing with this company's abysmal customer service not only left me feeling stressed and infuriated but also resulted in a significant waste of my time and money. Their incompetence cost me valuable resources that could have been better utilized elsewhere. In conclusion, the customer service provided by this company was nothing short of a disaster. Their lack of communication, unhelpful staff, broken promises, inefficient problem resolution, lack of ownership, and the overall negative experience have left me with no choice but to warn others to stay far away. Save yourself the headache and frustration by taking your...
Read moreWorst restaurant experience I have ever had. We were sat outside and waited 15 minutes for a server to greet us. I finally had to go inside and tell the host that no one had come to our table. Our server came, apologized for the wait and said that it was "one of those nights." My friends and I are all servers at restaurants so we understood. However, there is no excuse for the experience we had. We ordered drinks that never came. The server said 3 times that they were being made and that there was only one person behind the bar and that person was new and in training. So we got up to look to check out the bar and there were 3 bartenders. We ordered food, which came out quickly. I ordered a Margarita pizza that had NO TOMATOES.I asked for a side of hot tomatoes so I could put them on top and waited 15 minutes for our server to get them. She also apologized for there being no ice in the water because another server was supposed to get the ice and did not... Finally, we asked to speak to a manager. She did not bother to come to our table she simply peeked her head outside and said the bartender was new and she will cancel the drinks. My friend went to the bathroom to find all of our drinks just sitting on a tray at the bar. Finally, we asked for our check and waited another 15-20 minutes for the server to say that the manager messed up our checks so it would be a little bit longer. All the while the restaurant is barely busy and everyone around us was getting attended to in a timely fashion. I have been to this restaurant multiple times but will never return. It is upsetting because the food is usually good but the service was unlike anything I have ever experienced. It was my friends birthday dinner, we ended up missing the movie we wanted to see and left...
Read moreThis review is location specific. My wife and I LOVE California Pizza Kitchen, and because the Minnesota locations have closed, we be sure to detour to them on vacations.
Today, we took a detour through Louisville, KY to visit this location. Originally, we were going to drive through to Short Pump, VA and have it as a late dinner, but decided to try for lunch instead. Huge mistake.
We were seated promptly, and to the server's credit, she greeted us promptly and advised that she was getting three other tables their drinks, and then she would be with us. I appreciated the heads up.
She came back and took our order; waters to drink, avocado club egg rolls, the Thai chicken pizza, and we also asked for bread. 10 minutes later, the server came back and told us they are out of the thai chicken pizza, and in fact have been for a week! I was surprised she didn't know this and tell us before hand. Why did it take 10 minutes to find this out? We thought maybe a manager or the kitchen manager would've came out and told us as soon as it was rang in.
10 minutes later, the egg rolls arrived. Still no water, but the egg rolls were delicious. Never received any bread.
We paid and left still hungry.
Had we been notified promptly that the pizza we wanted was not available, we wouldn't have ordered, and still could have made it to Short Pump, VA for a late dinner. Instead, our eta is 4 minutes after they close, and I am currently stopped on the highway due to an accident that will continue to delay us. Had we left immediately, we wouldn't be sitting stopped on the highway, either. That's maybe not fair to put on CPK, but it's true.
I'll never go back to this location because I'll always remember what...
