Placed an online order. Order gave error. Tried calling business to resolve as the money was deducted from my bank account immediately but it didn’t appeared as if the order went through. It sounded like someone answered as you could hear all the background noise but nobody responding. It’s like they answered the phone but just set it down on a counter. I tried calling back but it gave an error when calling back and didn’t ring at all.
Physically went and in and patiently waited my turn in line. Explained to the crew member what happened. He rudely said that their phone was dead (you could clearly see it was sitting on the counter - the phone is certainly not going to get charged just laying on the counter) and that they are in the middle of a lunch rush. He asked the name and confirmed they didn’t receive the order and stated the charge would just fall off “in a couple of days”. He was short with me and asked what I wanted - I placed the order with him and while waiting about 2 minutes experienced the same crew member being short with other customers. When glancing at the look on all of the crews faces, they all looked miserable, like they hate their jobs.
I then advised I was cancelling my order and would go elsewhere and for them to please let the man know to which the man replied, “JUST THROW IT AWAY”, loudly.
It was not a pleasant experience.
Please don’t blame the customer and be short with them for YOUR system not working properly and for YOUR phone not being charged properly.
The least he could of done would be to apologize for the frustrate and reassure in a NICE way what had happened and ask if I’d still like to place an order.

Read moreWe have been loyal Jersey Mike's customers since experiencing them for the first time over 14 years ago in TX, and then moved to SC and ate JMike's there, and now we are in MI. I SURELY hope we don't have to stop going to Jersey Mike's, but our experience there last Thursday was not great. Items were left off the sub, meat was WAY overcooked and very dry, and it took forever to get the food and leave (carry-out) as they seemed to have a ton of orders. Of course, it doesn't help when the worker is tossing bottles around like Tom Cruise in "Cocktail" when he should have been finishing sandwiches as speedily as possible when they were so slammed. I tried calling and couldn't get through, and then tried again tonight, after dinner hour. I was told this gentleman was putting me on hold to go get the other manager, he apologized "if something went wrong and they'd make it right", and then put me on hold....forever. After 6 minutes, I hung up and called back. The phone is now constantly busy, so perhaps they left it off the hook? I'm not sure, but it's been about half an hour, and so again, I won't be able to tell them the problem, which might be an easily fixable training issue. And now they have a dissatisfied customer....
Read moreIve ate Jersey Mike's subs once before, i ordered 3 subs last night to be delivered. Two out of 3 subs were made as ordered. My sub of course was someone else's sub. I ordered a cheesesteak, i got some chicken mess with pepperoni on it. Of course it was after they closed before i noticed they sent the wrong sub. So i drive up here today to complain and hopefully get my sub finally....NOPE their darn grill isnt working so now im in their GREEN BOOK with a credit for my sub whenever they get their grill repaired. So unacceptable Jersey Mike's. I understand the grill breaking is out of your control, but to whatever idiot that messed up my order, the $12.20 should be taken out of your paycheck and Thanx for ruining my dinner last night and for me having to drive up here in 93° heat just to be told the grill is broke and i still dont get my sub.
